Before checking in, the hotel housekeeper Xiao Ren took the initiative to contact me and sent me a lot of food, accommodation and entertainment guides in Zhenjiang, and gave me tickets to the Xijindu Scenic Area. He also patiently and carefully answered some of my questions. After checking in, I felt that the hotel service staff were very nice and took the initiative to provide mineral water. The hotel environment is elegant and quiet in a bustling city. It is very convenient to go to the Xijindu Scenic Area. The hotel's bathroom has sufficient water pressure, the shower room is large, and the bed is very comfortable. The elderly in the family are very satisfied. Checking out also gave a New Year's refrigerator magnet gift, which is full of sincerity. In addition, the hotel's Chinese restaurant is also quite good. It was lunch time when I drove to the hotel by myself, so I had dinner in the hotel's Chinese restaurant. The dishes tasted very good, especially a sweet and sour pork chop, which was praised by my family.

This is our first time to Zhenjiang. This hotel is within 10 minutes taxi ride from Zhenjiang railway station. On 27 Dec 2023, we arrived late at night and all the shops nearby the hotel have already closed. So, no dinner. The reception staff, Fang Rong and 张师傅, took good care of us by offering snacks and carried our luggage into the room. The hotel’s location and environment are fantastic! It is located at Xijindu ancient street where you can stroll along the ancient street. The museum and old British consulate are within walking distance from the hotel, through the ancient street, past a 观音 cave. Another tourist spot, Jinshan 金山 is also within 20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel’s breakfast is delicious and good value for money. The hotel’s room is very clean, very comfortable and very nice. The hotel’s staff Steven is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Upon check out, we got a small trinket as souvenir. I had a pleasant stay and will definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you all for the outstanding service and warm hospitality during our stay.

I slept until 10am and thought I missed the hotel breakfast, so I called the front desk. I didn't expect that breakfast could be delivered to the room at 10:30! So thoughtful! On weekends, I took my parents to Zhenjiang to travel and stayed at the Shuxiang Mansion Hotel. This hotel is located in Xijindu, the historical ancient street of Zhenjiang, very close to the famous ”three mountains” (Jinshan, Jiaoshan, Beigushan), and it is very convenient to travel. The rooms of the Shuxiang Mansion Hotel are distributed in Bao's Qianzhuang and Yuntai Building built during the Republic of China. His breakfast is a set meal for one person (one person, one bowl of pot noodles + a crab powder cage, a fresh meat cage, a vegetable bag, a braised egg and meat, noodles and small cage are all cooked and steamed) + semi-self-service form, fruit, salad, bread coffee, small pickles, millet porridge. The hotel room is not only in place, but also the service is very warm and can be reflected in the details. Guests check in, the service staff carries the luggage to the room for the guests, informs the facilities in detail, and the welcome fruit is placed early in the room. The room is large and very good. The boss and staff are very enthusiastic and recommended restaurants nearby to eat local specialties. My husband was temporarily unwell and helped delay the check-out time. It is not far from nearby attractions and it is very convenient to order takeaway.

Food and necessities are cheap and convenient. The hotel is a seven or eight-minute walk from Xijindu and Zhenjiang Museum. Didi taxis from the hotel to various attractions are all at the starting price, and they can be easily reached by sharing bicycles. The hotel is simply and elegantly decorated, clean and hygienic, the customer service is very enthusiastic, the room is spacious and bright, and the hot water flow for showering is large. It was a very satisfying trip.
