I came to Zhangzhou with my wife and chose this homestay hidden in the ancient city. As soon as you enter the door, you will be attracted by various puppet decorations. We chose a room with a private hot spring. The hot spring pool on the balcony faces the cobblestone street. At night, while soaking in the hot spring and watching the lanterns light up, it felt like we had fallen into an old movie. The housekeeper contacted us one day in advance and helped us carry our luggage when we arrived at the store. He was very considerate.
Must praise the geographical location! Going downstairs is the main street of the ancient city, and snacks such as carrot cake and four-fruit soup are just a few steps away. While strolling around, I happened to come across a glove puppet show. The master puppeteer was controlling the puppets to fight with his fingers flying, and it was very vivid and lifelike. It was a kind of easter egg on the journey. The only drawback is that the old wooden building has average sound insulation. In the early morning, you can hear the jingle of bicycles passing by, but it does add to the fun of the city.
(Tips: Private bath rooms are cost-effective, but they need to be booked early during peak season; if you like taking photos, it is recommended to bring cheongsam or Hanfu. The lanterns by the window and the carved bed are beyond the picture!)

The customer service didn't seem to read Ctrip messages very much, and never responded to my questions. I had to call directly to solve it. The front desk was very easy to communicate with. The location of the homestay is very good in the ancient city, surrounded by treasure snack shops. I checked in one by one in the guide I made. The parking lot is very close and it takes 2 minutes to walk. If you have a lot of luggage, you can ask the homestay to find someone to pick you up. The room is of moderate size, clean and tidy, and the facilities are very new. It is very comfortable to live in. You can bring your pet to stay. A small deposit will be charged. There is no problem for pets with good habits.

This time staying at An Nan She, the experience was really great!
The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the center of the ancient city, next to the Temple of Confucianism. As soon as you arrive, you will be attracted by the quaint scenery of the surrounding red bricks and tiles, which is full of historical charm. It is very convenient to go out and stroll around the ancient city. You can enter various specialty shops and food streets in just a few steps.
The service was impeccable. Before checking in, I contacted the front desk and quickly added them on WeChat. They carefully sent me location instructions, which immediately solved my troubles in finding the way. After checking in, you will also receive a very practical guide to food, drink and entertainment in the ancient city. We booked an outdoor balcony room on the 3rd floor. The staff took the initiative to help with the luggage, which was very considerate.
The room facilities are beyond imagination, with a 100-inch VIP projector, so you can enjoy a private cinema-level viewing experience just by lying on the bed at night; the small refrigerator can keep drinks cool at any time, and the disposable toilet seat is clean and hygienic. The bedding is extremely neat and tidy. I feel at ease just by looking at it, and it is so comfortable to live in.
This stay experience is perfect, I must recommend An Nan She to everyone! Whether you come to travel or relax, this is a great choice.

The hotel is located in the "Chinese historical and cultural district" Zhangzhou ancient city scenic area. At the door is a plaque inherited from the Republic of China, which has been revitalized after the baptism of the years. Live here to feel the cultural charm of this thousand-year-old ancient city of Zhangzhou. The ancient house of the red brick swallowtail ridge in southern Fujian. A wisp of affection that has passed through a hundred years is in my heart. The interior is designed and decorated in a modern Nanyang style. Live in the atmosphere of the movie. Tradition and modernity collide, inheritance and development merge. Southern Fujian has a thriving culture,Experience the mundane world here.

Environment: Just in the scenic area, it is very convenient to go anywhere
But downstairs is the bar, it has been noisy until the early morning, don't set a room along the street
Facilities: lack of anti-mosquito liquid, bar singing + mosquito sound in the first half of the night, bar singing in the second half of the night, the noise will not end until 3 o'clock, it is possible to check in on the day of 2-14 day
Hygienic: very clean
Service: A lot of shit, taxis and shared bicycles in the scenic area can not enter, wearing down jackets and dragging suitcases to find a store in the ancient town, we from 8 ℃ to 20 ℃ Zhangzhou , we have not had time to change the clothes in the scenic area, dragging the suitcase with a bag and sweating, and then the store recruits are very small. I walked by without paying attention, and I found it again. The front desk checked in, and then added your WeChat to tell you that you can connect to this moment. After I checked in, I found that the opposite was the hotel I stayed in last year. The service is very good. When you set the room, you will use the company WeChat to tell you where to take the taxi. It is the closest to the hotel. You will also send you a guide on how to eat, drink and play in the ancient town. There are tea tea sets and fruit gifts. Later, the tea is very good. I found the store to buy some tea and go back. This time I fancy the balcony and room of this hotel. As a result, I set the wrong room type. I set a small room type. The two boxes were placed at the door. The room door could not be opened. The first day came out too much to affect the mood. At night, it was the sound of mosquito bars. I didn't sleep well on the first night.

The service staff is very warm and thoughtful. Whether it is the front desk reception or the restaurant service, I feel at home.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with many attractions to visit around it. I am very satisfied with this stay and I highly recommend it to friends who want to enjoy their stay! Looking forward to coming here again next time.

The owner of the homestay is a woman of faith and strength ♥️
Traveling with friends in Zhangzhou and want to experience the humanistic style. However, both of them are p people and will not make plans. When we came here, the proprietress sent us a positioning, and also helped us carry the boxes and introduced the corridors of the first-line sky. There is no cave in the homestay! The homestay has a total of 3 floors, there are not many rooms, but each is unique. There are not many rooms, and many people are avoided. 🈵️
Rooms:
1. The rooms are all independent password locks and smart toilets, and the boss is very intimate to prepare makeup remover wipes, disposable face towels and disposable bath towels for girls. Very clean and hygienic!
2. The bed is also very comfortable and will not make people sleep with back pain. The mattress is also very good 👍
3. The sewing kit is prepared intimately in the room. The girl's rubber band. This is really super nice 👌
B&B wines:
I am a wine man, I like all kinds of whiskey 🥃 and cocktails
The boss Meier sister is a woman who can combine Buddhist beliefs into wine culture. Drinking is also carefully tasted life! (Combined with Meier's proverb: people with clean magnetic fields can gather together with people of the same frequency ♥️)
Beverages/Coffee
Friends who love coffee can try the oily American, olive American, combined with the local traditional characteristics, so that the American flavor is more delicate and memorable!
Drinks: If there are children at home, you can also try other drinks without alcohol! Meier works out, no mistake! ☺️
Finally, about Meyer (Boss)
The boss is a woman with experienced life, she is kind and sincere to people, and she is running a homestay with her heart. Chat with her, you can suddenly be cheerful! I really recommend that you can talk to the boss about your problems. Her opening is simply better than the paid 🤓
Finally: ㊗️ Meier Sister B&B guests are like clouds, and those who come here can happily unlock their own life topics.

The sanitation is OK. Although it is in the scenic area, the surrounding environment is very quiet. The infrastructure is more complete than I expected. You don't need to bring your own conditioner and shopping bags. The wall outside the guest room courtyard is a shared corridor with the scenic area, so the bathtub is only suitable for children to take a bath.

Perfect
EEnzo PaulThe hotel is located in a village about 15 minutes drive from Nanmen bay. First we were concerned because the village didn't look like a ”tourist friendly” place. But when we had arrived, all our concerns disappeared. The place is very quiet and chill unlike the hussle and bussle of hotels near the beach.
The hotel is a renovated traditional Chinese house. All facilities are new, clean and made with a good taste and attention to the details. What you definitely don't expect to find in the old Chinese village is an electronic toilet that greets you by opening the lid when you coming into the bathroom. 😁
The room was clean, smelled very good and the linings and towels were superb 5 stars level quality.
The breakfast is simple (Chinese traditional) but fulfilling and tasty.
There are complimentary coffee drip bags in each room and also a coffee machine in the bar area.
The owner of this hotel is a professional traveler. He told us a lot about his trips all over the China and abroad and showed his photo works. He also designed ans made some furniture in the hotel by himself.
I helped him to take some photos for the hotel which you can find below 👇 Absolutely recommend this place for staying!
RRegina L. SeguroraThe hotel is located at the top of the mountain, it's perfectly nice location. The service staff’s attitude is truly amazing and helpful especially the front desk who is very accommodating to our requests, restaurant staffs were very attentive and friendly, great food, not so expensive and the room is very clean, nice & tidy. There is also a park area in front of the hotel. This place is overlooking Zhangzhou and the other side is Xiamen. During the night time, we stayed at the terrace, drink some wine while staring at the beautiful view. Unfortunately, we’ve missed the sunset as it’s too late when we come back to the hotel. We also wake up very early and watch the beautiful sunrise in the morning at the back of the hotel. Also, there are free drinks available in the room and we got sweet soup and fresh fruits available after we come back from our tour. This is a good place to stay, far away from hustle and bustle of the city. It's 4 km to the famous Ten Miles Blue Mountain and it’s overlooking from the hotel. The hotel even sent us to this place by their service van and offered to pick us up back to the hotel which is well appreciated. After we check out, we thought it's easy to get a Didi but ended the hotel offered their service van again to bring us down the mountain to get Didi easily. It’s better to have your own car for your own convenience travelling around this area. We can’t say enough good things about moonlight resort and will surely give them two thumbs up for their amazing service, it was all so great stay! Definitely this hotel is highly recommended, we booked 2 rooms Elegant & Privilege Queen Room it's worth the trip. We hope to come back again next time.
GGuest UserThe front desk service is friendly. Actively provide umbrella lending service on rainy days. The room is square and well equipped. What satisfied me most was that the hotel had a self-service laundry room. There are four sets of washing and drying sets and the usage status can be checked directly in the room. It is very convenient for me when I travel for a long time. The only downside was that the non-smoking room I booked smelled of cigarette smoke. The front desk tried very hard to assist me with my problem. But because I don't smoke. Very sensitive to the smell of smoke. It is recommended that the hotel consider upgrading its smoke-free plan. Overall, I am very satisfied with this accommodation experience. Will choose to stay again.
22ihaoThe host was very polite. We three people were helped to arrange a loft room. We can add an extra bed in the living room on the first floor, and there is a two-meter bed on the second floor. There is a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. The design is great! There is a parking lot and breakfast. Extra breakfast is 28 per person. The location is good. It is very close to the big banyan tree and the waterwheel. It is very quiet. The steam eye mask is not available in B&Bs of the same price. It is very considerate. I had a pleasant trip. Thank you~ I wish the store a prosperous business!
DDarylAs it wasn't a busy time and we were staying for a whole week, on check they upgraded us to the Wooden Loft Family Room, which was quite nice. The room was comfortable with big windows and a nice view across the stream to the forest. It was great to have a washing machine and the washing machine had a dryer function as well so we could still dry our clothes when it was cloudy and cool. The smart toilet was a bit disappointing as the controller wasn't very responsive and the flush was very weak. The tub was nice though the water was not quite hot enough to make it comfortable. Most of all we enjoyed the courtyard area and the breakfast/restaurant area, especially the tea room. They are really well designed and organized and provide a nice space to relax and read and write. The breakfast was quite nice, they provide a serving size based on the number of people, though it was often not enough for us and we normally asked for another serving. They also brought a fruit and yogurt platter to the room in evenings which we also enjoyed. The location is convenient to walk down to the Yuchanglou Tulou in Xiabancun, though part of the way will be on the main road which can be busy with traffic. To get to other areas such as Tianluokeng and Taxiacun it is also possible to walk, though again sometimes you have to walk on the main road as there is no walking path or small side road. There is a tourist bus service that goes between the scenic spots and you can even flag them down in between though you are supposed to have purchased a transportation ticket first and that is not striaghtforward to get if you didn't get it in advance. So, most guests come with their own car or rent one. If arriving by train, while trip.com shows the Yongding and Longshan railway stations as the closest, actually the quickest and most convenient station is the one at Nanjing. Also, because the hotel is within the scenic area you do need to purchase tickets to enter, either online tickets or paper tickets at the gate.
GGuest UserStaying at ”Nanjing Tulou Yunlai Mountain Villa”, the beautiful boss was very enthusiastic, and also upgraded the room, and told us the best route to visit the attractions. What made me feel the deepest was the boss's enthusiasm. Although breakfast, lunch and dinner are home-cooked dishes, they taste very good, and the ingredients are all green foods. The most commendable thing is that I do not slaughter guests. In addition, the villa is the closest to the four dishes and one soup attraction, and it is also the highest mountain view. It is very convenient to take night views at night. The most important thing is that it is especially convenient for self-driving parking. There are plenty of free parking spaces. It is worth recommending to everyone.
GGuest UserI came to Yunshuiyao to play, and I really like the scenery here. I especially like their design and greening. Whenever I come to the south, I ask him to stay here for a night every time. The proprietress is very friendly, and the tea she brews is very fragrant. The coffee is also very fragrant. The overall environment is very healing. I came from Jiangsu. I plan to bring my good friends and my family to play again during the summer vacation, and I will choose their home to stay. Thank you. I love you so much.
GGuest UserWhat an amazing experience to live in the “chopsticks” buildings of the four dishes and one soup! This was a small and beautiful village and the family who ran the inn helped us carry our luggage up to the inn and later down to the inn. When we arrived they cooked a dinner which was reasonable in price based on a local menu. And then during dinner, they told us that one of the family members will be running a free tour of the Tulous of four dishes one soup for us in which they explained the history of the building of the tulous, especially the oval shaped tulou. Our guide was very funny with his stories (he spoke in Chinese) and it was a lovely time seeing the artists and candy makers in the Tulous. I would highly recommend this place. We did have to bring our own towels (or at least we brought our own and they didn’t supply one), so maybe best to check.
FFranscios MichaelI have stayed at quite a few Wanda hotels in the past and always had a pleasant experience but the past two days were anything but pleasant. I had a two night stay in Zhangzhou Wanda Realm from the 22nd of January to the 24th of January. I have listed my grievances below.
1. Air-conditioning does not work. My room was a constant temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and even after turning on the air conditioning did the temperature not go down. I had to ask the hotel to open a window to decrease the temperature and thus let polluted air into the room.
2. I booked an executive room knowing that I would receive some benefits. Not only was the executive lounge closed but as stated in the notice, they requested we use the hotel lobby bar which was also closed. I paid 850RMB per night for this room. If I am not going to have the benefits of an executive room at least refund me.
3. Swimming pool times have drastically decreased to limited times. I know that this is Chinese New year but isn't this the time when the hotel would receive most of its guests and thus have all the amenities ready and working to make a guest stay very pleasant.
4. Breakfast buffet was below standard of a 4 star hotel. Not only was the selection of foods extremely basic but the food was severely under stock. One would think that a four star hotel would be able to plan for a busy time like Chinese New year but no, there was limited food on basic items like eggs and bacon. Staff were not prepared for such large amounts of people.
5. It seems like this hotel is closing down as many water features and other amenities are either out of order or not working properly. It is an embarrassment to call this hotel a luxury hotel. It has the facade of a luxury hotel but cannot deliver on basic amenities.
Please see my photos for evidence of my unpleasant stay.
The staff were very friendly and tried to help where they can but it would be better to close down this hotel than call it a luxury 4 star hotel.
GGuest UserIt was most unusual that we had to pay in advance CNY1,000 when we checked in for only 1 night. Our room rate was CNY427. The following morning when we checked out, the CNY1,000 was refunded immediately and then we paid the actual bill.
The lobby, elevator and room were clean and nice. Huge bathtub, spacious room.
As our group of 8 checked in late, we had buffet dinner in the hotel. Most of the food dishes were almost empty but the staff were helpful in specially preparing dishes for us. The seafood was fresh but the steak and the other meat dishes of pork, chicken, etc were tough and inedible.
