This is a very unique and interesting hotel. Take bus A3 from Zhangzhou Railway Station and alight at the last stop and walk about 10mins to reach. Hotel is 3min’s walk the Minnan Normal University闽南师范大学. Hotel staff is extremely friendly. The room was not ready on our arrival. In waiting, they served us a big platter of fruits and desserts. Only set back is we were not given the room we have booked. Special shout out to 吕小布 who went all the way to help us book the tour to Nanjing Tulou. He was extremely helpful and cheerful. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to explore Zhangzhou. Gucheng 古城 and Zhongshan bridge 中山桥 is also within walking distance. Plenty of eateries around the area. Will definitely come back again.

After leaving the hotel, Xiao Guo helped me carry my luggage and sent it to the Didi pick-up point on Xiaojie Street. Thanks to Xiao Zhu for upgrading me to the only and largest room on the third floor of the hotel the next day. The hotel's bedding and toiletries are clean and comfortable. Especially the shower head has a lot of hot water, absolutely great! The hotel has a great location and environment, right by the Song River. There are many restaurants around! There are also many snacks! If you come to Zhangzhou for tourism and stay in Zhangzhou Ancient City, this hotel is the best choice!

When we checked in, the front desk was very patient and showed us several good rooms. The cleanliness of each room was acceptable. Upon arriving at the Xiyue Minnan Courtyard Hotel, I was greeted with great hospitality. As I was unfamiliar with the surroundings just after getting off the car, my Driver called the Hotel for assistance. The Hotel is located inside a PEDESTRIAN ZONE. Shortly after the call, Siao Dong came to my drop-off point to help me with my luggage and assisted me to check in. She also carried my Baggage to My Room 2303 at Level 3 as there is no Lift Facility here. I thanked here very much as I would have problems carrying my Baggage as I am over 77 years of age. This Ancient City is truly a wonderful place, and the hotel environment is quite pleasant as well. There are lots of variety of local food and snacks. The Hotel also assisted to book a Group Tour to visit Nanjing Toulou and a Private to Fujian Toulou. Also arranged for my private transport by Car to my Hotel in Xiamen.

The customer service didn't seem to read Ctrip messages very much, and never responded to my questions. I had to call directly to solve it. The front desk was very easy to communicate with. The location of the homestay is very good in the ancient city, surrounded by treasure snack shops. I checked in one by one in the guide I made. The parking lot is very close and it takes 2 minutes to walk. If you have a lot of luggage, you can ask the homestay to find someone to pick you up. The room is of moderate size, clean and tidy, and the facilities are very new. It is very comfortable to live in. You can bring your pet to stay. A small deposit will be charged. There is no problem for pets with good habits.

New hotel. Clean room. Plenty of food downstairs throughout the day and even midnight. Didn't hear any karaoke noises from my room as per other reviews. Reception is helpful. Lift indeed has to wait a little longer during peak hour but didn't cause much trouble to us. There is no door between the washing basin and bed, hence if you are light sleeper and someone uses the basin, you may be affected. There is one free laundry machine and dryer machine. Overall, a pleasant and valuable stay which I would recommend!

The room was upgraded for free. The room was clean and tidy. It is more than 3 kilometers away from the ancient city and has a superior geographical location. The only downside is that the sound insulation is not very good. Overall, the stay was quite satisfactory.
