This hotel was a genuine treat. The couple that run/own it were unbelievably helpful to us, helping us plan our time in the mountains and Furong village down to the T. My room was very large and came with a laundry room and en-suite; for the price, very good value. The hotel is very close to the Tianmen mountain cablecar station, as well as a couple of nice streets for food.
While I believe this place rates 5 stars, here are some things to bear in mind: The owners don't talk English; The toilets are squat toilets.

The family is lovely; the woman gave us tangerines, and they always treated us with such kindness. The hotel is very nice, with all the amenities and a good location. The only drawback is that they're currently undergoing renovations, and it's a bit annoying to wake up to the early noise. I think they should take this into account so guests can rest. If you're choosing this hotel, it's a very good option, but ask first if the renovations are still ongoing so you don't disturb your rest.

The hotel is super well located (close to the train station and close to the cable cars for Tianmen Mountain, I did everything on foot)
The manager is super nice as well as her whole family. I had a great time with them.
