位於山上，住了兩天，自然環境優美，老闆和老闆娘質樸友善非常好，做的家常菜很合我們的口味。老闆還開車帶我們去美地看落日，去空中田園看日出，還安排了接送，還給我們升級了房間，甚至還記得安排一個電扇給我們。山裡的條件有限當然比不上市區，但是若要在山頂上看日出日落，免去上山下山走索道或舟車的勞頓，住山頂不失為一個很好的選擇，所以不能太挑剔，何況主人家的周到服務抵消了一切有限條件的不適應感。再次感謝老闆和老闆娘，很開心滿足的旅行。

Another review has already said that the room facilities are terrible. I would like to add that we stayed in a double bed room at the end of the second floor because we had children who needed to sleep together and there were not many double bed rooms. Maybe they all went to this room. Try to stay in a twin room. Later, I saw other rooms were empty and open, so I went in to see a few of them, and they were all better than ours... The room we stayed in was particularly terrible...

Expected a small "village" but there are only a few old homestay places like this one. On arrival, it looks like an old farmhouse. The family running it are friendly and the guy was ready to help (with translator) with any questions and a short drive to see the sunset as other people have commented. Heavy rain the previous week had stopped the buses on some of the routes in the upper area, but for a small fee, he drove me to Tianzi mountain the next morning. He also offered to take me to see the sunrise. The main point staying up in the scenic area is to avoid the entry on the 2nd day which was nice.

This guesthouse in the mountains of Zhangjiajie is a lovely surprise! You can get there at the end of the day and enjoy the sunset and sunrise over the park. The owner will drive you to the best spots.
You can have dinner and breakfast there for an additional fee.
The host doesn't speak English, so bring a translation app; there's good signal.
It's a short 15-minute walk after getting off the bus to get there. Follow the directions on Tripadvisor and the photos.
