I traveled by high-speed train to Zhangjiagang Station, and a taxi ride from there took approximately 15 minutes to reach the hotel, which was very convenient. For those driving, the hotel offers a spacious underground parking lot, ensuring parking is completely hassle-free. 🏨 **Environment and Rooms:** Upon entering the lobby, I was immediately struck by its modern and grand design, with soft lighting creating an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was a breeze; the front desk staff were warm, professional, and quickly got me settled into my room. My room was on a higher floor, and as soon as I opened the door, I was impressed by its spacious and bright interior. The panoramic window design is fantastic; the floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the city skyline and the bustling nightscape of Zhangjiagang. The bedding was perfectly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring I had a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation and was stocked with premium toiletries, showcasing attention to detail and quality. Furthermore, the room's soundproofing was excellent; despite the city's hustle and bustle outside, it was remarkably quiet once the windows were closed. 🍱 **Dining Experience:** I must commend the hotel's dining options. The breakfast buffet, served at Zhenchu Restaurant on the 39th floor, offered an incredibly diverse spread, with both Western and Chinese dishes to satisfy every palate. I particularly enjoyed their freshly-made noodles; the rich broth and springy noodles, complemented by a variety of fresh toppings, made for a truly satisfying start to the day. The fresh, seasonal fruits were also a highlight, wonderfully sweet and refreshing. For lunch and dinner, I tried Yunwei, the hotel's Chinese restaurant. Its elegant ambiance, imbued with Jiangnan charm, perfectly complemented the exquisite and delicious dishes. The menu beautifully blended Huaiyang cuisine with local Zhangjiagang specialties, making every dish memorable. Oh, and the Executive Lounge on the 36th floor is also exceptional. The afternoon tea offered delicate and delicious pastries that were perfectly sweet without being cloying. Happy Hour featured a generous selection of hot dishes and snacks, including freshly carved Peking duck, which the staff thoughtfully rolled and delivered to our table. Paired with expertly mixed cocktails, it was an absolutely superb dining experience! 🏊 **Facilities and Services:** The hotel's fitness center and indoor heated pool are both located on the 4th floor. The fitness center is well-equipped and open 24 hours, perfect for my workout schedule. The indoor heated pool had clean, crystal-clear water, and after a swim, I could relax in the adjacent massage pool – pure bliss! The hotel's service also left a lasting impression. From the front desk to room service, every staff member was warm, attentive, and incredibly prompt in their responses. On one occasion, I needed extra towels, and they were delivered to my room within minutes of my call to room service. Additionally, the hotel provides a business center with well-equipped meeting rooms, making it ideal for business travelers. My stay at the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel was excellent, whether for business or a family vacation. While the price might not be considered low, the hotel offers great value for money given its brand reputation, exceptional service, and comfortable environment. For Marriott Bonvoy members, the perks like room upgrades and late check-out make it even more worthwhile. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Very please with the service provided by the rececption team. Specially thank Xu Lin for her extra mile in getting the shoe repaired within 15 minutes. It is totally beyond my expectation. I am in China in various cities. This is the first time I meet such a dedicated service staff. Good service.

A good hotel for a business trip to Zhangjigang. The breakfast has a good standard. Fresh fruits, Chinese noodles, eggs to customers choice and many more is offered. A small gym let you train a bit (could be bigger!). The restaurant is opened till 10:30pm and provides some tasty snacks when the work day lasts a bit longer and the nearby restaurants in the shopping mall are already closed. The Starbucks in the mall opens at 06:30 and is just a 7 minutes walk away.

This hotel was the perfect choice for my business trip! It was spotlessly clean, and the environment was quiet yet had a great ambiance. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the facilities were modern and smart. I had such a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I'll definitely be back!

Very clean and good breakfast it’s recommended

Clean, sanitary, beautiful environment, very good front desk service, there is a movable small table under the sink in the room, children can pull it out and stand on it to wash, the design is very user-friendly. I have stayed in so many hotels, and this design is rare and considerate. I rented a bicycle from the hotel and took a walk around the nearby wetland. The breakfast is also rich. I will stay here again next time.

I came to Jiyang Lake Hotel with my husband for a vacation on the weekend. The stay was very comfortable. The room type is very good. You can see birds in the room, and the green lake water is very healing. The hotel service is also very good, especially the lobby brother, who is very enthusiastic and gave small gifts. I will bring my family to stay next time.

The hotel is next to an ecological park, and you can go directly to the ecological park with the room card. After dinner, there are many people running and exercising there, and there are also children's play facilities. The room is very good and the facilities are new. The scenery outside the window is beautiful. The indoor sound insulation is also very good. There are several large shopping malls around, which is very convenient. Definitely recommend staying. I didn't have time to experience breakfast, but it seems that there is a place next to the lake where you can eat noodles, which feels very good.

Zhonglian GDH Hotel - finally back after 4 years. 8 nights in room 1718 ”Deluxe Queen”, at the back. Reasonably quiet this time, probably due to the lack of traffic and fewer guests - meaning less banging doors. Very dark. Bed was actually a king size and wasn't too firm. I slept well most nights. International power points with USB ports. Adjustable and very cold aircon had no trouble in the 36C heat. Good water pressure with rain and hand showers. No bath. Some marks on the carpet and chair upholstery. Good buffet breakfast with eggs to order. Chinese bacon. Baked beans some mornings. Lots of sweet options and pastries and several types of fresh fruits such as watermelon, dragonfruit and pineapple. Automatic coffee machine coffee that was almost drinkable on a couple of mornings but mostly bad. I really enjoyed the room service shrimp fried rice on several nights and there is a new McDonald's and KFC close by. Almost no english tv channels. No smart tv. I have stayed here many times over the last decade but this time the GDH was very quiet with me being the only westerner that I saw in the hotel on most days. Not sure if the new Marriott has caused this. Lovely help from the customer service managers- even helping me order online food since I don't read Chinese and everything is now done by an app. Limited internet access in Jiangsu that blocked my Gmail, even though I could download it in Zhejiang. One day my webmail was also totally blocked but mysteriously became accessible again the next.

Good hotel , good breakfast , free laundry. Have 3 moslem restaurants (Lanzhou Lamian) near the hotel. Its 3rd time i have stayyed here , more than 10 days each period.
