steelbossI often stay in this hotel near an industrial park where I have some business. This is a great option to avoid a 30-minute drive to downtown Zhangjiagang, where costs are higher. The hotel is very clean and the beds are super-duper comfy. The front office staff consistently exudes charm and approachability. There is gated free parking behind the hotel, and there are many small local restaurants. My only issue with this hotel is that sometimes the smell of cigarrets is present in the rooms. Even if you have a non-smoking room, you may get smoke through the shared AC ducts, and that is not cool. In any case, this hotel offers deals that are hard to refuse, with all things said and done.

We are from England and stayed here from 28/03/26 - 04/04/26 while visiting our son who lives in Zhangjiagang. Excellent plush hotel, lots of marble, quality carpet (and robot room service, heated hi-tech toilet seat etc) set in a scenic lakeside location. A little bit remote but Didi taxis are very very cheap. Staff were helpful. We paid a bit extra for a balcony and lake view room and it was well worth it. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but the food was very nice. Very good choice - quite different to UK breakfasts - but in a good way. Fresh fruit, cereals, bread, bao buns, vegetables, eggs, 3 types of noodles etc. Possibly the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in and we would definitely come back.

New. Modern. Simple. Easy. The front desk also has a Costa Coffee service. Ideal. The check in was almost instant with no extra questions. I had to change the initial room due to excessive cigarettes smoke smell. The new room was perfect. The floor was clean and no sticky, a pleasure for naked feet. And everything new. The washing clothes is near the lobby, 20 min fast wash with 20 min hot drying, and for the time of a sipping coffee and some phone browsing, clothes were clean and dry, by the free of any charge. I will surely stay there again. I have almost forgot the breakfast: nothing to brag about. But you’ll fill your belly. Good luck!

Before check-in, the butler proactively reached out, offering a choice of several pillow types and upgrading our room. Upon arrival, the greeter was attentive and escorted us all the way to our room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Even though it was rainy, sitting in the warm room, enjoying the lake view and watching the wild ducks swim by, made me feel incredibly happy. If I had to pick a flaw, the shower water temperature was a bit too cool for my liking; I'd suggest increasing it by 1-2 degrees.

Breakfast was average and staff were friendly.
There is a washing machine in the room so you can do laundry.
Drying rack and laundry detergent will be provided if you ask the front desk.
There is a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator.
Coffee, nuts and water provided daily
However, it is a bit disappointing that the power outlet only supports 11 characters.
There are no round power strips in nearby convenience stores or supermarkets.
There is nothing to rent at the hotel front desk.
Purchase and use gender online through an acquaintance
Be sure to purchase it in advance.
There is a shopping mall right behind the hotel, so eating is no problem.
Convenience stores and supermarkets are nearby, as well as KFC and Starbucks.
There is also a McDonald's a short walk away.
I'll have a good night

My stay at the Zhangjiagang Yahood Hotel was excellent from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-designed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly every night.
What stood out most was the hotel’s attention to detail—the toiletries, daily cleaning, and small touches like complimentary bottled water made the stay feel extra thoughtful. The location is also convenient, close to shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the city.
Overall, this is a modern, clean, and well-managed hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiagang and will choose it again for my next trip.

I have stayed in Huazhuhui's hotels many times, but this time I felt that the service was not good enough!
Room: Really big!
Location: Really good, close to shopping malls. Convenient for eating, drinking and having fun.
Parking: Not very convenient, park in an underground parking lot nearby, and walk to the bridge, although it is not far. If you have a lot of luggage, it is definitely inconvenient.
Breakfast: Go around 9 o'clock, many dishes and snacks are gone, and there are fewer varieties! And the restaurant is relatively small.
Safety issues: The elevator does not need to swipe the room card to enter the floor. This is the first time I have seen it! There are safety hazards.

My stay was excellent, definitely a full five stars! The front desk staff were lovely and provided great service, and I slept wonderfully. No complaints at all.
