8月下旬、日本からツェルマットへ。
こちらのホテルに2泊しました。
チェックイン、アウト共にホテル↔︎ツェルマット駅の
無料送迎があり、とても助かりました。
(チェックインの日、ツェルマット駅にホテルの名前が書かれた車が停まっていたので、運転手さんに声をかけて、乗せてもらいました。チェックアウト後は、フロントから運転手さんに声がかかり、駅まで送ってもらいました)
お部屋はマッターホルンビューで、とても快適に過ごせました。朝、昼、夜と、バルコニーから見える全ての景色に感動。スタッフのみなさんも親切で安心しました。
朝食も美味しく、朝食を食べるレストランの大きな窓からは、マッターホルンが見えて、とても美しい景色を堪能できました。またツェルマットに宿泊する際は、こちらのホテルに泊まりたいです。かなりオススメです！

The hotel is very clean and the service is very good👍🏻I also enjoy the spa area very much. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off from the train station. I highly recommend the Matterhorn view room.

Being an American couple in our 80s, we wanted to witness the splendor of the Matterhorn but we didn’t need the stress to hike the mountain or surrounding area. This Hotel provided an opportunity for us to achieve our goal. This charming Hotel is conveniently located close to the train station, even allowing us to walk there upon our arrival. The Hotel provides a magnificent view of the village and the Matterhorn. The staff was wonderful and courteous and provided detailed guidance on the area, including how to navigate the town for sightseeing options. We had a delightful and delicious dinner as we saw the sun setting on the Matterhorn. The included breakfast was perfect to start our days and the free shuttle conveniently took us into town and to the train station on our departure. Highly recommended!

Hôtel très bien situé sur les hauts de Zermatt avec une vue imprenable sur le Cervin. Le personnel de la réception très aimable et accueillant de même pour le service. La restauration "un vrai régale". Il y a cependant un petit bémol pour la chambre qui n'est pas en équivalence avec le niveau (4*s) de l'hôtel.

No gym or spa as indicated, very small sauna and no other offerings, the staff were great , owners very superficial and didnt engage much, not like my last trip at Hotel Christiana, I defenitely prefer Christiana, nice owners, staff and offering, Schonegg just comes out short of what I had expected, not issues other than noisy, and not feeling welcome.

Don't stay in 104 as it only has a partial view of the Matterhorn. The terrace is dark and fairly miserable overlooking a flaking wall and a pile of snow. Rooms 204 205 and 102 are the same price and vastly superior.

Die Aussicht ist absolut top, das Personal sehr freundlich und dienstfertig, vorallem an der Reception. Das Hotel macht jedoch einen eher schmuddeligen Eindruck, eindeutig in die Jahre gekommen und zum Teil sogar ungepflegt, wie zum Beispiel der Tisch mit den alten, schmutzigen Weinflaschen vor den Lifttüren. Leider lässt auch der Kaffee beim Frühstück zu wünschen übrig. Bei einem 4* Hotel darf man heutzutage Kaffee mindestens vom Automaten erwarten, auch die Kenntnis, was eine "Schale" oder "Capuccino" ist.

After-ski spa is a typical Zermatt delight. Not in this hotel! I booked based on a photo of the spa which gives the impression that there is a small pool. How misleading and what a disappointment when we got there! Just a couple of basic smallish whirlpool bathtubs. Never again… At the time of this writing, the infamous picture still appears on the hotel’s front spa webpage; it should clearly be removed.
