This hotel is relatively cost-effective in Zermatt. The room is relatively small, but very design-conscious, and you can see the Matterhorn from the balcony. The breakfast is very good and freshly made. The hotel's spa is very unique and worth a try.

Beautiful accommodation, 4th floor suite (top floor) with a view of Mt. Zermatt. We stayed as a family. Free spa. Delicious Swiss breakfast. Staff gave good advice on traveling around the area. Beautiful room but too dim light. May be more suitable for couples. There is a fire pit (in a glass box) to keep warm in the living room. The extra bed was placed in this living room, making the light from the fire too bright when sleeping. The master bedroom has a glass roof. The electric curtains are broken and cannot be used, must be used manually. This room is very cold. It seems that the heater does not work well.

Nachdem es etwas Probleme gab beim reservieren, wurde alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit gelöst. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und der Wow Effekt biem Hotel und anschliessend beim Zimmer ist sehr gross. Der Style ist sehr schön anzusehen und komplett durchgezogen. Leider muss ich sagen, wenn ein Style schön anzusehen ist, sich darin aber nicht so gut leben lässt, dann hat der Style den Zweck verpasst. Toilette und Dusche, v.a. die Toilette ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und ein Problem wenn einer der beiden in der Nacht auf die Toilette muss. Dann sind alle wach. Licht machen geht sowieso nicht. Waschbecken sehr eng und wenig Platz. Die Betten, nun wir schlafen zuhause auf einer H4 Matratze, also eher Hart. Die Betten im Backstage Hotel sind aber steinhart. Wir haben leider nicht so gut geschlafen. Die Lichtschalter, es gibt 2 davon, ja, sind auch nicht zweckmässig, man kann nur überall Licht machen oder keines. Es war an dem Tag sehr heiss. Wir hatten über 26 Grad im Zimmer, es gibt eine Klimaanlage, die nützt jedoch rein gar nichts. kann man ausbauen. Das Frühstück war Toll und sehr gut! Die Lobby, komplett durchdesigned, sehr schön. Ich kann mir aber nicht vorstellen auf diesen Stühlen ein 17 Gault Millaut Diner zu haben. Für kurze Zeit ok, aber 2 Stunden ? Ich würde auch erwarten, wenn der Besitzer des Hotels schon da ist, das man auch mal gegrüsst wird von Ihm. 3 mal begegnet, 3 mal kein Hallo. Man darf auch nicht einfach überall sitzen beim Frühstück, weil ein schöner Platz für den Besitzer reserviert sei! Alles in allem, ich kann dieses Hotel leider trotz sehr gutem Service, Style und Frühstück nicht weiter empfehlen. Tut mir leid.

We were originally booked for their serviced apartment which was a bit far, we requested Laura at the front desk of the hotel to move us to the hotel from the apartment, she was most understanding and helpful and she did that, she also booked some nice restaurant for us for dinner and gave us info on sight seeing spots, we are very thankful to her for making our stay most enjoyable, the breakfast at this hotel is very nice and we were served by Marcia who was also very helpful and served with a smile for the 3 days we stayed, in fact all the staff of the hotel is warm and friendly, the rooms are modern, we had the room with an attic where the beds are placed, quite nice, the location of the hotel is very central, all in all a wonderful experience
