It's a little far from Shermatt Station, but the Japanese Bridge is very close by. The weather was good, so we were able to see the Matterhorn's morning glow from there.
I had included breakfast, but since I was heading to Gornergrat first thing in the morning, I asked about the venue before breakfast time, and they gave me bread and coffee and also arranged for me to take it out.
The staff were friendly and I had a great time.

Location is slightly further from the train station, however you can hire a local EV taxi for est. CHF5/person from hotel to the train station (together with your luggages). Breakfast spread was decent and would recommend if you’re traveling on a budget to Zermatt. Down the road you’re able to see this Matterhorn view!

Location: On the hillside. There is no extra charge for pick-up and drop-off service from the station. There is a bus. It will be painful to go uphill with luggage, but the trip is OK. It is not far from the place where you can take the ropeway up the mountain. It is quite convenient.

Since I only planned to go skiing when I went to Zermatt, I booked a hotel close to the ski resort, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the ski resort.
This is a B&B, and the service is pretty good. The breakfast is a normal European hotel breakfast buffet.
The room is quite large and clean, with a sofa bed and a balcony. Unfortunately, it does not face the Matterhorn.
