Toa Hotel & Spa Zanzibar

It’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah. You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down. My wife and I came to Toa hotel & spa for our honeymoon. In short, this is by far the best hotel experience, we have ever had! We were impressed with every aspect of our amazing stay! All the staff were all exceptional in every way and made us feel extremely welcome every day! To name a few lovely staff members: Zaina, Esther, Ruth, Lucas & Ally (sorry for any spelling mistakes in names) made us feel really special and were ever so helpful & friendly. The exceptional friendliness of all the staff was one of the many things we really liked about the hotel! The hotel is beautiful and as of Nov'24 only 2 years or so old, so has a very modern feel to it. Everything worked really well and all the time! The beach was beautiful with plenty of sunbeds. We went in November and the weather was perfect, between 25 and 30 degrees centigrade, everyday, all day. The room was lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon was perfect, with a powerful warm shower and also a balcony. They offered my wife and I a romantic candle light meal on the beach by the sea which was a highlight of our stay. We really enjoyed the dishes and experience. Spectacular! The pools were great too! The main pool was quite big with a bar in the middle of it, so you can order drinks while in the pool, which was awesome! There was another pool in a separate location which was ideal for swimming lengths, which I also enjoyed for swimming. We booked the all inclusive option and the food & drink was excellent! Plenty of options for any tastes (meat, fish, veg, salads, cheese platter, etc). We're not big drinkers but the included drinks, cocktails, mocktails were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone considering a special holiday in Zanzibar! We would love to come back here!

Toa can be best described as an epitome of beauty. I had the best experience ever. Got a warm reception from Rehema, Esther and the team. The rooms and views were breathtaking. The food was mouthwatering. Rehema made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. We paid for half board but we were given lunch as a complimentary. Mwana made sure we kept fit and she is really entertaining. Toa Hotel and spa is a hidden gem. I felt at home and my heart is full

We recently enjoyed a short vacation in Zanzibar, and TOA Hotel and Spa was one of the highlights of our trip. Everything about the experience was exceptional – from the luxurious accommodation and serene ambiance to the lively evening entertainment. The staff were absolutely amazing, making us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. I treated myself to a body scrub at the spa, which was fantastic. We also participated in morning water aerobics and Zumba sessions with our trainer, Mwana, who was incredibly friendly and energetic. Rehema, the Sales and Marketing lead, went above and beyond, frequently checking in to ensure we were having the best possible experience. The pools were immaculate, the food was absolutely delicious, and the overall experience was truly worth it. We can’t wait to return to TOA Hotel and make more wonderful memories!

Where does one begin with TOA, the environment, the staffing, the food, the drinks; top tier! Our stay was honestly a complete vibe. Esther & her staff was completely attentive! Esther made sure from the time we booked to check out, 1000/10!
