Yulong Gucheng District 5-star Hotels

This hotel resides inside the ancient town very close to the South Gate. The service I received was totally fantastic. All were friendly. They picked us at the gate, prepared some snacks and fruits for our late arrival, and when we left early next morning for the mountain they helped pack breakfast for us. The breakfast offered at the hotel was really good. The rice noodles were the best of all I had at the city. Though the hotel is inside the ancient town, and can hardly be as spacious as intercontinental, the room very large and comfortable. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location is perfect. Next to Lijiang Ancient City at its south end almost part of the enclosure. One can stay late in the city knowing the bed is a step away. Breakfast is very good, I only had two meals for the day. Shuttles from front desk to hotel rooms are plenty. Last but not least, Lisa and Claire have been assisting and caring throughout our stay. All requests have been met with timely responses. Thank you!

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s breathtaking beauty,a masterful fusion of Naxi heritage and modern elegance. The traditional architecture and graceful black swans gliding across the serene waters created an atmosphere of pure tranquility. Highlights of my stay included the complimentary Pu’er tea experience at Jinmao Ming,a delightful cultural immersion, and the peaceful boating on the beautiful lake . The spa’s signature massage was truly divine, leaving me completely relaxed. Breakfast was a standout, featuring authentic Yunnan specialties like fluffy baba rice cakes and aromatic rice noodles. While most dishes impressed, the bakery’s pastries could be more consistent. A special mention goes to the front desk team whose warm hospitality stood out. Emna provided exceptional service, ensuring every detail was perfect. For travelers seeking a harmonious mix of cultural discovery and Hyatt’s refined luxury this hotel is an impeccable choice.

Excellent service, clean and beautiful hotel. I really enjoyed staying in the hotel, the service is top-notched :) We went to Yulong mountain early and couldn’t make it for the breakfast at 8am, and the staff packed some small bites for us to bring along. We really appreciate the gesture!

Very beautiful room, super breakfast, conveniently located in the pedestrian area at the entance of the ancient city. Very kind and professional services, particular mention to Lucian and William.

Pullman Lijiang offers spacious rooms, but they feel dated. Carpets show wear and the LCD TV looks nearly ten years old—due for an upgrade. Breakfast is what you'd expect from a four‑star international hotel: decent variety and flavour, yet quality could be improved. The hotel sits about 20 minutes by car from Lijiang Old Town and roughly 30 minutes from the high‑speed rail station—convenient for travellers. During my stay, the hotel gifted me a bathrobe. Sadly, it arrived noticeably crumpled and appeared used, which detracted from the welcome. Overall, Pullman Lijiang is comfortable, but it needs attention in several areas.

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Lijiang. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, but still peaceful at night. The family room was thoughtfully arranged, clean, and very comfortable. Our kids loved the child-friendly touches. Staff were helpful, and check-in was smooth. Great choice for families who want to explore the old town on foot and come back to a cozy, welcoming room.

This hotel is an excellent choice for a peaceful stay while still being conveniently close (about a 10-minute walk) to Lijiang Ancient Town. The rooms are clean, and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend consulting their travel experts, Ms. Ye and Ms. Yang (叶女士和杨女士), for local tours and sightseeing arrangements—they provided exceptional service! They organized a fantastic day trip for me to Shangri-La, including a stop at the breathtaking Tiger Leaping Gorge. One of the highlights was enjoying an authentic Tibetan-style lunch in a nearby village, making the trip truly unforgettable. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang!

What an incredible architecture design! Amandayan is a tranquil, zen oasis in the beautiful and very busy town from downstair. The service is Aman and Aman but quit lower than each other. The rooms interior are normal with traditional but a great vibe with the big space and more. Staff aren’t hand on and available at all times of the day and night and runs as other Aman. Tea testing activity so much fun!! Truly a unique, special experience HIGHLY RECOMMEND! But one problem in this stay is the guard of the back gate (if you wanna step down to the old town) he can’t remember me even though they got all the guest not over 20 persons, he can’t speak English and try to block me to come to inside anyway… no other staff there, so sad for Aman standard T_T and really sad for my life 😌

This stay experience really exceeded expectations! From the time we were picked up at the business center to the time we entered the hotel lobby, we could feel the enthusiasm of the staff. The driver, Master Wu, introduced the surrounding tour routes attentively. The hotel is also very conveniently located, not far from the scenic spots and business districts, and it is very worry-free to travel and shop. In short, whether it is service, environment or cost-effectiveness, there is nothing to choose. I will choose this hotel next time I come here, and I strongly recommend it to everyone!
