When I opened the curtain, Mt. Yufu was approaching in front of me. The bathrooms are not unit-type, and the bath • Toilet • wash basins are independent. Supper is a summer Oitagawa kaiseki course. All the dishes were delicious. In particular, the dishes that left an impression on me were grilled on a Japanese black beef hoba miso ceramic plate. The warmed miso has a hoba scent, and the slightly sweet taste goes well with the beef. The more you want to refill it with an exquisite taste. Breakfast is buffet style. I was satisfied with the local menu of Oita Prefecture, including dango soup. There are two indoor baths in the large hot spring bath with a spacious space. There is also a whirlpool bath and a Louis Bosti hot water of the incense hot water. The open-air bath has natural rocks on the side facing the garden. Although the location is some distance from Yufuin Station, the environment is very comfortable and it is a very Japanese-style accommodation. The large transparent glass window in the dining area allows you to enjoy the outdoor scenery, which is the best thing about this hotel. In terms of facilities, there is nothing to show for it. It is just a small hotel. As for the room, the equipment is average and a bit old. The biggest problem is that the check-out time is 10:00 in the morning, and because we have to accommodate the pick-up schedule, we can only choose the bus that leaves at 9:00 in the morning, so we can't enjoy the hot springs. (Note: The hotel is equipped with a shuttle bus, but I did not make a reservation. I estimated that I could walk there, but it took 30 minutes. Therefore, it is recommended that guests make a reservation for the shuttle bus from the station to the hotel.)

How cost-effective it is. Small business. There is a pick-up service after 3pm. We will take you to the station when you leave. There are only 6 rooms. What was surprised was cooking. I don't know if there is a cook who boasts his arms, but dinner was not honestly expected much, but it was actually very delicious. During the second night, the first night cooks the ingredients that are naive and firmly examined, and the second night is a menu like a large item, and it is naturally delicious. I felt that the boiling of the cherry blossoms was probably the best I have ever eaten. Found this hot spring hotel online, saw a lot of justice so chose to visit this time. After breakfast, I soaked in the hot spring again and packed my bags and checked out. The overall feeling of this hotel is first class and the staff is intimate. Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!

Hygiene: Very clean hotel. The room is divided into three areas, like a suite, and it is a rare super large room for traveling in Japan. Environment: You can see the sea from the window, and it is 2 minutes away from the beach. It is one JR station away from Beppu University, and 5 bus stops away from the awesome Takasaki Monkey Mountain and Oita Sea Ocean Museum, and 10 minutes away. We walked 600 meters from Beppu JR Station to the hotel, which was acceptable.
