Yufu Hotels with Wi-Fi

The large open-air bath overlooking Mt. Yufu has the best atmosphere. It's warm, so you can soak in it leisurely. For men, there is already a １ or a small open-air bath that is hot and can be used by the bridge. I stayed in the main building. It is a building with a considerable age, and although it is undeniably old, the toilet has been renovated and cleaned well. The dishes were basic plans, so there were no high-class ingredients, but I was satisfied with the contents that I could feel politeness. Finally, the response of the employees was very good and made the impression of this inn very good.

It is the best location if you follow the street all the way. There is no separate bathroom, so if possible, it would be better to get a room with an open-air bath to be satisfied. You can walk to the lake, tourist street, and 'Sim', famous for its idle pot rice, within a short distance. The town is not that big, but it is so cute that you lose track of time. Then, when it gets dark around 6 o'clock, all the surrounding shops close. Instead, they open early in the morning (around 8 o'clock) and because it gets dark early, you can see the spectacular view of the dark night filled with stars around 8 or 9 o'clock. It may be covered by clouds and water vapor, so it is not possible to see it all night. It is too bad to stay for one night. If the price doesn't go up too much, I think I will visit this place again as a satisfactory accommodation.

There are few amenities in the dressing room. [Meal] Private room in the dining hall with evening breakfast. Dinner and Bungo beef steak were soft and delicious. When I entered the private room, I was already prepared for sashimi and baked fish on the table. There may be corona measures, but the baked fish was cold, so it was a little disappointing. There was breakfast, hot tofu and specialty ryukyu. There was a matcha and sweet service at check-in. It is good to spend a leisurely time walking to Lake Jinxi. I just felt that it was not as expensive.

Yufuin, who wanted to stay before. Renewed with the total design of etsuji Mitooka who worked on the luxury sightseeing train. It is an inn, but it has a chair and bed, simple but nice design, and it was perfect for us who did not like people coming in and out of the room. The meal was more comfortable and good than the room meal because it was served in another room. The dishes were also devised and beautiful and delicious. When I asked the young female staff, I was impressed by the answer to everything except the dishes. We couldn't leave food, so we were full of pots, because we had a lot of pots. The inn had a lot of dinner and breakfast, so the inn continued for two days was a little bit painful when it was old. The bath was a family, and there was a large open-air bath and I was able to relax. It was conveniently located to walk around Lake Jinpu and Yuno Tsubo Kaido Road, and it was fun to enjoy shopping and enjoy it. I would like to stay when I visit Yufuin someday.

We made a booking directly with the hotel (Google translate). Communication wasn’t very prompt and last email was never responded. But it was ok. Our request for ground floor room was granted. Room We booked a western twin room. It was small with no cupboard, only 2 hooks. Besides this, it was clean and came with attached toilet. Bed was comfortable as well. Facilities Nice public Onsen - large. A pity no view at all to speak off. I didn’t use their 5 private onsens since they were not attractive. Free beer, coffee & tea. Really pretty courtyard, especially in the evening with the kerosine lamps. In the daytime you can see there are room for improvement. Location Excellent, very close to Yufuin’s major attractions like the lake, shopping street and Floral Village. Yet it is located along a quaint canal with great view of the paddy fields and mountains. Not very convenient for walking from the station though due to the non-tar road in immediate vicinity. Taxi fare was reasonable - ¥710. Services Not the friendliest. Staff did bring us to our room, detouring to show us the onsens. However, quite grumpy. After check-in I asked for assistance to book a local restaurant. They won’t help. Food We changed our booking from half board to no meals after our requests for some food tweaks were refused. Conclusion I would return for their location, ambience, good value and the free beer/coffee 😁

What a lovely place to have a retreat. It's away from the crowd but near the yufuin station....about 500 m. They don't have many rooms so it's quiet. Just outside the hotel is Lawson. Restaurants are also nearby. The hotel looks like a resort with beautiful landscaping. Staff is hospitable and although some don't speak very good English, they try their best. They allow us to keep our luggage at the lobby before check-in and after checkout. The hotel is simply generous with free drinks almost throughout the day and night, free usage of bicycles , beer and instant noodles are sold at a cheap price. It's a self contained hotel. Everything is there. The 4 private onsens are great. Rooms are clean but a bit cramped and it would be good if they have more hangers to hang clothes. A mirror on the wall would be better than a small table mirror. If you're not a cat lover, you might not be impressed when you see their cats walking on the food tables and sitting on the sofas. The small details like a note welcoming you and a photo of you at the end of the stay are why I would love to come back again.

How cost-effective it is. Small business. There is a pick-up service after 3pm. We will take you to the station when you leave. There are only 6 rooms. Basically no one is using the public hot springs. You can go in at any time. It is no different from private ones. The meals are like family dishes. There are Mandarin-speaking work-study students. No need to worry about communication problems.

This is the failure of the blind hotel selection for this trip to Japan. . In fact, there are many other hotel options in the town. Fortunately, the surrounding environment heals and does not affect the overall travel mood. The so-called private bath is as small as a single bathtub, and the only outdoor hot spring time is very short. I didn't know that the scheduled dinner was not in the hotel until I arrived. I needed to take a car, and I didn't explain it in advance. It is very similar to a simple ABB standard hotel, which is very different from the expected hot spring hotel. It is also far from the station. The advantage is that it is very close to Jinlin Lake. Get up early and go for a walk. The environment of the town is so beautiful The attitude of the service staff is very good. After 9 o'clock, they get off work and ask for self service. At this price, I can't complain, and I won't choose it next time

All aspects are very good. My husband and I are very satisfied. Although there is no courtyard and the location is a bit far away, it is worth it. The hotel will have a special car to pick you up. Just call in advance to confirm. It’s also very good, every room has a private soup, the privacy is very good, the key food is really great 👍🏻 If you go to Yufuin again, I still want to live in his house!

It is about 10-15 min walk from Yufuin train station to the Ryokan. If you have large luggages, it will be good to call for a taxi, otherwise, it is manageable! We were warmly welcomed by reception staff. They were quick to receive us and took care of our luggages as we were checking in. A tour around the ryokan was also given to us by a staff, Erika-san who took care of us for our 2 nights stay. The room, bathroom and baths were clean and comfortable. Sleep wear was provided and to top up the experience, they also provided Yukatas and footwear for going out. Also, besides providing the showering gels, the vanity table even included some facial and hair lotion. Breakfast was sumptuous and yummy and we had a private room to ourselves. Erika kindly explained to us the dishes in English and offered us with photo taking for memories. (Don’t have to feel awkward requesting). Also, contrary to some reviews, dinner was also splendid and tastes were just right. Ingredients were fresh as well! Worth the dollars and cents! If you are looking at a hot bath, this ryokan has got 3 private baths (2 outdoor and 1 indoor) and 2 public baths (1 for men and 1 for women). Went for the private bath and it felt like it was our own sanctuary as we were undisturbed and were given a time limit of 1 hour 40 min. There were a few staff who are seen around from time to time and they are always polite and helpful. Can’t emphasize enough on their service! A place I will come back to in future!
