Truly amazing stay at this hotel. Very clean and impeccable service. Quite private and can distant yourself from the crowd. Breakfast was amazing too. Can’t find a thing to complain. Highly recommended!

The onsen room is great(exactly like the photo on trip com) The outdoor onsen in our room is spacious for 2 adults and can see stars at night. The shabu shabu dinner set and breakfast are also of high quality. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

The onsen and food were excellent. Rooms were also spacious and well laid out. My only complaint is the staff could have been more flexible with their service. For instance, our party had six people spread across three rooms. We could not dine together because the table seating limit was four. So we had to split up the family to accommodate the hotel, instead of the hotel accommodating us. Unfortunately this is sometimes the norm for traveling in Japan.

The hotel situated in the mountain, location is not convenient, would recommend to drive is better. We had called the hotel front desk a day before to arrange a discounted taxi from Yafin station to the hotel. The front desk receptionist speaks very well English which is very easy to communicate. Overall hotel is nice and clean, very quiet environment to relax. At night, you can see plenty of stars in the sky which is very beautiful.

The third hot spring hotel on this trip is located in the middle of the mountain and is more suitable for self-driving. The hotel also has a private car to pick you up, but you must make a reservation first. The hotel is located halfway up Yufudake, a must-visit for those who love nature and scenery. When checking in, you just need to give your name and arrive on time, without complicated registration; the butler is already waiting to prepare the room, and also introduces the surroundings of the hotel and how to use the room facilities in detail, which is very considerate. The hotel decoration is a mixture of traditional and modern styles. It is built on the mountain and blends with nature. It feels very harmonious! The independent house we stayed in was spacious and equipped with an outdoor semi-open-air private bath. The water temperature reached 55 degrees, coupled with steam and light rain, it was full of affection! The kaiseki cuisine and Japanese breakfast are of good quality, and the puffer fish sashimi and black wagyu wild vegetable hot pot are unforgettable. Fortunately, I was walking along the outdoor path in the morning and encountered wild deer looking for food. I was extremely excited!

Although it is located near Tsukahara Onsen, the annex is located on vast grounds and is quiet and comfortable. They are very particular about the amenities, and I am impressed by the fact that they are more concerned about customer comfort than cost performance. I was able to walk around the grounds and photograph many wild birds.

Although the location is very remote, it is easy to reach with a car. The cabin is very comfortable, and the food and drinks are very good. The waiters are very attentive. I will book again if I have the opportunity.
