We loved our stay. It was Chinese New Year so it was a bit busy in the area, but our hotel was an oasis. We found the hotel staff helpful and accommodating. This hotel is a good location if you want to hike through the rice terraces and from village to village.

This hotel offers a spectacular view of the rice plain terraces. It is also very quiet and peaceful, suitable for those who wants a short getaway from the bustling city. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Though the breakfast offered was not to the standard of a luxury hotel I would say. Otherwise, all is good. 👍

The hotel is in a very good location. It has been renovated for quite some time. The sanitation is good. It has floor heating, which is very good. The hotel service is satisfactory. Parking is a bit messy when there are many people. The breakfast in the restaurant is also messy. The sanitation needs to be improved.

Stayed for the second time, the room was large and the bedding was clean and tidy. There are electric blankets and bathroom heaters in the bathroom. There is plenty of hot water. The boss is also very enthusiastic. very satisfied. Will come again next time

This was a really unexpected find in the villages around the Yuanyang rice terraces. The building itself is really beautiful and directing overlooks the terraces. The room was surprisingly large and the floor to ceiling window offers a great view(weather permitting). The bed was super comfortable and shower hot and powerful. The best part was the sister who works here; she couldn’t have been more helpful, even walking us to the nearby village to find a place to eat. She is enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the area. The only downside(and I know it’s a bit of a sensitive issue) is the lack of air conditioning in the room. Even at the end of June it isn’t hot around Yuanyang, but it is very humid and air conditioning could definitely help with the latter. That being said, I slept well with the window open and would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The hotel is located opposite the tourist center of the scenic spot. If you are not a professional photographer and have no special requirements for shooting, you can stay here. It is just right for a trip around the mountain. There is a charging pile of China Southern Power Grid opposite the hotel. There are succulent plants everywhere in the hotel, I like it very much. The staff are very enthusiastic. My only comment is that the room I stayed in had a room card holder left behind by the previous guest (it was placed under the charge sheet at the water bar), indicating that the cleaning was not thorough.

Unfortunately, we encountered a cold wave in Yuanyang this time. There was sleet on the way up the mountain. The weather was quite regrettable. Without sunshine, we could not see the light and shadow terraces. But fortunately, the hotel has floor heating and air conditioning, which is still very comfortable even in such a cold weather. The most important thing for going up the mountain in winter is the facilities. The room you booked can also soak your feet, which is also a highlight. If the pool is bigger, it would be even better to soak in a medicinal bath. The butler service is very proactive. The two meals we had were also very good. The boss is also very nice and introduced a delicious beef restaurant. Next time I have the opportunity, I will stay a few more days and walk various hiking routes.

The village still retains the traditional production and lifestyle. Elders and cows are the most common. Chickens and ducks are running around. Everywhere you walk, there are mushrooms. You can take photos and check in, giving you a strong rural feel. The hotel's hygiene is commendable because it is newly opened and all facilities and equipment are relatively new. The bathroom is TOTO and the sheets and quilts are very good to the touch. I read online reviews that the fog here is very heavy and I am afraid of humidity, but there is no smell at all in the room. No, the next day I saw that the cleaning staff were still using disinfecting lights in every room. The restaurant is on the edge of a terraced field 100 meters away. Sitting by the window is a picture. The dishes are more local, delicious and not expensive. The ingredients are fresh. There is a shelf full of brewed wine. We all tasted it. Very tasty. The service is worthy of praise. After checking in, the lady at the front desk will bring us to a big screen, introduce us to the tourist map of the scenic spot in detail, and name the restaurants that locals go to most often. In the evening, she will also invite you to follow They baked tofu and chatted together. Friends from all over the world sat together, which was quite atmospheric.

The homestay is in Zhongzhai. It is convenient to go anywhere. There is a small platform 200 meters away to see the terraces. The transportation is convenient. The bed in the room is oversized, three beds, super spacious, and it is no problem to sleep a family of 6. We have a bed for three people. And the mattress is particularly comfortable, the room has a large floor-to-ceiling window, Can show the scenery outside the window! The owner of the hotel is warm and hospitable, very thoughtful and comfortable to live here, and a proper five-star praise!
