We had a fantastic stay at Harmony House B&B, just outside York. It was super easy to find, parking was simple, and the location was ideal—great for getting into central York but also perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. Our room, Maple was great —spacious, super clean, peaceful, and the bed was really comfy. The whole house had a warm, cozy feel, making it a really relaxing place to unwind. We arrived later in the evening on the Friday, but the self-check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, which was very much appreciated after a long drive! The room was well-equipped, plenty of room to put away clothes & suitcases etc, also had a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk, plus tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and herbal teas. Having that little extra convenience was great, and the homemade chocolate fudge on arrival was absolutely devoured!! Breakfast was excellent—great variety, well-prepared, and made with high-quality local ingredients. The lavender eggs were a standout and definitely worth trying. You could tell a lot of care went into everything. Adele was an absolutely brilliant host—welcoming, friendly, and so so helpful. She has great local knowledge, which made planning our days much easier. Overall, a fantastic stay. If you're looking for a cozy, well-located B&B with thoughtful touches and a personal feel, this is a great choice. Thanks so much Adele, we will be back!

My husband and I have just spent 2 nights at Harmony House for our wedding anniversary. The guest house is spectacular, we stayed in Evergreen room which is so cosy and comfortable with a stunning view across the green. The bathroom is lovely, and exceptionally clean. A lovely gesture was the bottles of water in the fridge, and hand-made chocolate fudge! Adele is a brilliant host, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing and so tasty. We used the park and ride service into York, which is only 10 mins away. After 2 busy days it was so nice to return to Harmony House amid the peace and tranquility of the surroundings, and a very restful nights sleep. Thankyou so much, Adele, and we will definitely return when we are next your way!
