酒店確實挨着火車站，裏面設施很有英倫風格，喜歡一樓的大廳。約克很小，可以步行到任何景點，均10分鐘以內。
到的比較早，酒店還同意了提前入住，臨行有寄存行李。服務態度較好；但是房間給安排的在副翼，較小且與真實圖片不符。由於入住僅一晚，沒有協調更換。

The front desk and restaurant staff were very helpful. The breakfast area was cozy and inviting. The hotel is close to the train station and attractions. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel would highly recommend. Excellent location and lounge area fantastic. Would make such a difference if hotel would either advise residents on arrival or put a sign on the service area in the Garden Room when it closes. We sat watching around 5 different people wait and look for service in the evening to be eventually told that they had to go to the main bar The Swollen Gambler situated a fair distance from the Garden Room to get drinks themselves. Also our Garden Facing Room was particularly dark outside the bathroom where there was a full length mirror that you couldn't see yourself in day or night and no light available there.
