Really enjoyed my stay at The Oak tree, the beds are so comfy! Quality linen and pillows. The towels felt Egyptian. The staff catered for us amazingly and locals are a right laugh. I will 100% be back! what a little Gem. Glad we stumbled upon this pub.

We have stayed multiple times before and have loved it. The breakfast staff had not been told by the night time staff that we had pre booked breakfast, the poor lady was in a real flap about it, we waited a long time, didn’t see a menu so left without breakfast. There was a mix up with the bill from the meal the night before so we were charged for things we hadn’t had. All a bit disappointing

Excellent accommodation. Room extremely comfortable, clean, and exactly what I needed after a 4-hour drive. Had to leave early for my appointment before I could thank you for your hospitality. Will be staying again in the future.

This was the first time in a while that we had visited this inn despite the living very near. We had dinner here with friends and had an amazing time. Service was faultless, food delicious, and a lovely atmosphere in the dining room. You can also eat in the bar area . All in all, a lovely evening

Clean comfy room, staff are fab! We stayed here for a friend's wedding that was down the road. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I had emailed in advance about taxi numbers and the possibility of a slightly earlier check in so we could have the keys and drop our bags before the wedding service. They were extremely helpful over email, with a quick and polite response. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the chef (I can't remember his name, sorry) and he let us into our room, provided us with an iron and even called our taxi for us - he went above and beyond to help us out. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Facilities are good - large shower, good water pressure, nice showergel/shampoo/conditioner. Tea/coffee and a bottle of water to wake up to were great. We had a lovely stay and if we are ever in the area again, we would stay here.
