The standard of the hotel is really very standard. This time when I traveled to the UK, I basically booked Holiday Inn. The hotel's hygiene, service, and breakfast were all very good, and I had a deep sleep!

the breakfast and man running it was amazing, we were stunned with the amount of thought that went into us, even though we didnt pre-book.
only fault was that we didnt realise it was a pub (our fault) and it stayed open downstairs for 3 hours past closing time! we didnt sleep well as i think there was some sort of hendo which was very irritating
