Quiet lodge near York city center.
Good bus service right outside the door.
But also only a 25-minute walk from the city center.
The room is simple and the bathroom a bit small, but meets all expectations.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The service was terrible from the moment I arrived.stuff were rude,unhelpful acted like guests were like a burden. Basic requests were never done and very hard to communicate with them and nobody seemed to care about making the stay comfortable. The room itself wasn’t great either dirty in places no shampoos or showers gel when I asked them their answer was ok .I asked them for room cleaning but never happened and definitely not worth the price at all.overall a very disappointing experience.I will not be choosing this hotel ever again.
