The hotel is very cost-effective, convenient, private, and has easy parking. The staff are very limited, with only one in the morning and one in the afternoon. It's best to arrive before 7 PM, otherwise the gates will be closed. Ask the breakfast staff for laundry service, which costs 5 pounds. There's a supermarket nearby, and the room is spacious. The lighting was great, and I could see the sunset. The shower was narrow, though, and I'm afraid it would be difficult for tall people. Only hand soap and body wash were provided.

Pros: The location is OK, about half an hour walk to the city center; the surrounding environment is also good, there is a supermarket nearby.
Cons: It is basically self-service, the room is not big, the bed is uncomfortable, and the linens are also very simple. There is no breakfast.

First of all i must make it very Clear I HAVE NOT NOR WILL I STAY HERE. This is about in my opinion poor customer service. I had phoned to today with an enquire about a possibility off arranging a surprise for some friends who we be staying there soon. First of all i could not here a word they was saying due to i think poor signal. Now after a few words was spoken i was not im pressed with the lack of help/enthusiasm to help & then ask to call back after 4pm when someone would be in the office. Well this phone number is advertised/listed is don't say anything about times to call .

Lovely little guest house, free parking and perfect location for a short walk into York. The owner is helpful, friendly and cooks a mean full English breakfast. Rooms are spacious, clean with everything you need, they are cleaned daily and fresh towels provided.

Excellent place to stay, we have several times, the owner always nice, short walk into york along river or main road, parking and breakfast great. Not 100% sure about the date we stayed. Would stay again rooms are tidy and Comfortable. Stayed twice would go again
