I will never stay in this hotel again. It is right next to York Minster. The window of the room can see half of the church. It costs more than 3,000 a night. There are no slippers, no toothbrush, no pajamas, no breakfast, and the room facilities are old. The toilet is a rope-type on the roof. You need to stand to flush it. You can imagine it. The quilt and pillow are still the old cotton. It has not been changed for a long time. The room is only large. Note that it only takes a few dozen minutes to walk around the old city of York. The next day, I asked to check out at 10:30. It is usually 12 o'clock, right? So just based on this window view, service and facilities, I feel that the price is unreasonable.

Hotel in a fantastic position, but very run down and disappointing. We were given a disabled room, this was a big bedroom but very outdated and just felt dirty. Dirty net curtains and all dark stained furniture. The air conditioning unit was a large box which was hanging out of the window. The room didn’t match any of the photos and for the price we felt like we should have got a better experience. The bathroom was ok. The breakfast was all burnt and wasn’t very appetising at all. Tip go across the road opposite the hotel and pay for a lovely breakfast. Over all would not recommend this hotel Very run down looks nice from the outside but that’s about it.

Booked this Hotel for my wife's special birthday and could not have asked for more. On arrival the reception staff were most helpful and guided to the Langley Suite. My wife was absolutely made up with the suite, location and wonderful pre booked wine & flowers, she added that it was like being in Downton Abbey ( Which is a compliment) The suite was perfectly located overlooking York Minster for people watching and was huge, comfortable and clean. We had a lovely Lunch in the Restaurant which set us up for a memorable weekend. Breakfast was excellent on both mornings with a great great view of the Minster and wonderfully cooked breakfast. A fantastic birthday weekend and we look Forward to our return soon. One tip: we used the Hotel concierge parking which was a great touch as parked outside and our car was returned promptly for our departure. Great time and thanks to all the staff
