The room is very nice and clean, only one drawback is that is quit far from city center which you need to take time to walk and there is no restaurants around the hotel.

Incredible hotel with the friendliest staff! The room was immaculate with a very comfy bed, service from all staff was faultless, and location is just a short walk from the city centre. I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in York, whether for business or pleasure!

York is a small city with history, and this hotel inherits the city culture. A separate British courtyard with a tall black gate. Friendly uncle-level receptionist. The hotel is a bit old, but well maintained. The room has a kettle, necessary toiletries, a shower that can be opened in multiple ways, and snacks. The hygiene is also OK, and the quality of the bedding is also OK. In short, it is a good experience
