We found The Cresent to be a little tired. But then we found out that it had changed owners 6 day’s prior. So yes it is a little tired, but he was very helpful and informative. The rooms are what you would expect at this price point. They are tired and dated, but warm and we slept well. The breakfast was a let down but again for the price what do you expect.

A very suitable B&B. I booked a room with a bathroom. The price was a little expensive, but it was quite comfortable. The breakfast was very warm and the waitress was very nice~ You can also store your luggage.
The location seems remote, but York is not big and it is quite convenient to walk around. It is within walking distance to the train station, the entrance to the city wall, Minster and the butcher's street.

Located in the city center, close to attractions, but far from the train station, about 30 minutes walk. Stayed in the hotel for 4 consecutive days. The first 2 days were connected to the bathroom, and the last 2 days were independent bathrooms, that is, the bathroom was outside the bedroom, which was a bit inconvenient, but it was clean and comfortable. The stairs were narrow, and the breakfast was a meal, which was delicious but small.

I often stayed in such B&Bs when I was in school, but rarely stayed in them after I started working. I was a little uncomfortable. But within the scope of B&Bs, the room was nice, the internet was fast, and the breakfast was good.

Hotels are expensive in York during weekends. The Crescent is an economic one but still not cheap. The location is great and is just 10 minutes walk from the York Minster. The room is very small and the furniture is very worn out yet the cleanliness is okay. The breakfast is good.
