Luggage storage is simply a public corner with no security at all. My luggage put there before check-in had someone tried to open it.
Would be good stay except for this.

With same amount of money spent , there are more choice and better quality hotel to be chooses. The reception ladies are nice,however the quality of breakfast is not great.

My family and I visited York during the Easter holidays. We stayed the hotels for 3 nights and so far we were satisfied with the accommodation. The family room is quite spacious for the four of us, clean and tidy. The location is excellent and close to the river. Friendly staff as well. The only thing to be disappointing is that the two single beds are rather small for teenagers ／young adults. Hope you find the information helpful.

Check in was very quick and room was just what you need really, had all the basics nothing special. Location is fantastic but is a bit loud at night because of the nearby pubs/bars. Breakfast was alright again just the basics but value for money is very good. Do recommend for a short trip to York

This hotel has a long history and the facilities retain the classic style of the 1980s. The waiters are enthusiastic and the service is thoughtful. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel is located by the river and is within walking distance from the train station.
