Highly recommended! The kids had a blast! You can choose a playtime on the day of check-in or check-out. Breakfast is served to your door. Parking is nearby, just a two-minute walk away. The maximum charge is $100. I'll definitely stay here again, especially if you have a baby. They have a bottle sterilizer, a water dispenser, baby bath gel, and a bathtub. Older children can even take a bath. It's within walking distance of Luodong Night Market. Great value!

We booked Shengpin on a whim after seeing many positive reviews, and Trip.com gave us the best rate. Even over the phone, we could already sense the staff's warmth and friendliness. Upon arrival, we were informed about parking options (both paid and free). The cozy lobby decor instantly captivated our children, who couldn't wait to go upstairs.
We stayed in the 'Man Man Wo' room, which featured a large bed and another substantial futon on a tatami platform – perfect for our family. My older daughter loved the hairdryer, and my younger daughter was thrilled with the bathroom. The room itself was spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully bright.
The common area was well-equipped with water, tea bags, a coffee machine, and kitchen appliances/utensils for guests. The dining area, with its transparent floor-to-ceiling windows, was very pleasant.
Though slightly away from the main hustle and bustle, it's only a 3-minute walk to Tangweigou Hot Spring Park and about 10 minutes to the main street – quite convenient!
While there was some chatter from other guests in the evening (which is understandable when people are on holiday!), it generally quieted down by 11 PM.
The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, promptly addressing any concerns and always proactively resolving issues. We're already looking forward to our next 'return home' – we truly felt at home!

Staff were approachable, friendly, and helpful. Rooms were clean, comfortable, cosy, and spacious. Daily top-up of minibar in your rooms. Breakfast was great with set meals for selection on top of the buffet spread.
Great location. It's just a stone throw from Jiaoxi train station. Walk down the street for many good foods.
Definitely will return again.

Kkuai pengThis hotel is quite ok. Although no one will come in to clean during the stay, you can go to the front desk to ask for supplies. The bathroom is also ok.
I read reviews before saying that the sound insulation is not good, but in fact it is not bad. You may also use earplugs to sleep; the transportation is very convenient, it is only a 5-minute walk to the train station, night market and meat soup. The shop selling souvenirs nearby is also good; the staff are also very good. We will introduce delicious food near the night market when you enter the hospital.
P.S. The basement of that building is for commercial property, so single travelers who don’t mind don’t want it, but I haven’t encountered any weird people in the few days I’ve been there, so it should be fine if you notice it.

TTango GinaI was impressed by breakfast, no processed food, some are the most primitive and prototype food, roasted sweet potato roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, carrot kiss fish porridge, scallion pancake roast chicken, boiled eggs, up to four kinds of fruit, plus milk tea orange juice and coffee series.
Regardless of the building, garden planning, room layout and restaurant furnishings, they are all European style, and the environment is very clean. I saw the service staff finishing the garden and facilities for two days and one night.
It was my first time to take my cat out and I felt good.

YYu HuanWe recently stayed at Wellspring by Silks in Jiaoxi for a short getaway with my 7-year-old child, and it was one of the most relaxing and family-friendly stays we've had in Taiwan.
Location:
The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Jiaoxi Train Station, making it easy to arrive with a child and luggage. One of the best parts is how close it is to all the great local eateries—from traditional ********* breakfast spots to noodle shops and dessert places, everything is within a short stroll. We loved popping out for quick meals and snacks without planning too much. Even though it's centrally located, the hotel feels like a quiet, relaxing retreat once you're inside.
Room:
Our room was modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The private in-room hot spring bath was a huge hit—not just for me but also for my 7-year-old. The water temperature was easy to adjust, and it became our daily ritual to soak and relax.
Kid-Friendliness:
Although the hotel has a stylish, adult-focused vibe, the staff welcomed children. They provided child-sized slippers, which made my little one feel like a VIP guest. The rooftop pool area was also suitable for kids (with supervision), and we spent a lovely day splashing around with mountain views.
One thoughtful bonus: even after we checked out, we were still allowed to use the rooftop pool and hot spring facilities. That extra flexibility made a massive difference for us — it meant we could enjoy one more relaxing soak and a bit of pool time before catching our train home. It showed how the hotel goes the extra mile to accommodate families.

The rooftop infinity pool and hot spring area are just as beautiful as in the photos—peaceful, scenic, and well-maintained. There's also a cozy lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks, which came in handy for quick breaks between activities. Everything felt clean, well-designed, and easy to access, even with a child.

The service was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. The front desk staff were helpful with suggestions for nearby places to eat and always greeted my child with a smile. They made us feel welcome from start to finish.

Breakfast was a treat for adults and kids — a great mix of Western and ********* options. My 7-year-old especially loved the fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, and mini croissants, while I enjoyed the local touches like sweet potato porridge, scallion pancakes, and handmade soy milk.

Wellspring by Silks is a perfect blend of peaceful luxury and family-friendly comfort. Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or with kids, it's a great spot to unwind and enjoy the best of Jiaoxi's hot spring culture. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

WWangAlthough the hotel isn't right in the city center and is a bit of a distance from the train station, it's wonderfully quiet. The hotel itself is new and clean, and the rooms feature smart controls for lighting, curtains, and more. While the swimming pool isn't large, the water is spotlessly clean, and it's evident that daily maintenance is well-handled. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful; we even received a text message reminder the day before check-in. The complimentary afternoon tea snacks and the 7 PM tofu pudding service in the evening were both very thoughtful touches. The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, truly delicious, and the coffee was good too. All beverages in the mini-fridge were complimentary, and the small cookies were tasty 😋. The room size was just right, the bed was comfortable, and having a hot spring bath on the balcony with good ventilation and an open view made for a truly comfortable stay.

SSuzieLocation: Very close to the train station, within walking distance. Also close to the parks and public hot springs.
Staff: The staff were friendly, and kept our luggage stored when we checked out. Since I only spoke to them in my terribly broken Mandarin, I don't know how many staff could speak English for foreigners.
Room: Very clean, A/C works very well and isn't too noisy. The bed was large and comfortable. There was water, and tea and coffee - I forgot to look in the fridge.
Bathroom: Most hotels in Jiaoxi have hot spring bathtubs, and so does VASTY. There were plenty of toiletries and towels, flip-flops, slippers and bathrobes. The bath was lovely. Shower did make the entire floor wet, but not slippery.
Other amenities: The rooftop pools (x2) are small, heated to a comfortably warm temperature, and clean enough. There are loungers and chairs. There was a family with two young children playing in one of the pools and taking photos, very cute. Free water, towels and cans of Coca Cola upstairs too!
Breakfast: Buffet style with mostly Asian food, but plenty of choice to help oneself to meats, breads, fruits and vegetables. Tea, coffee, milk and juices. We went downstairs for breakfast at around 9am and had to wait for a few minutes, as there were no tables available.
Overall, we had a wonderful one night getaway in Jiaoxi, and would stay at VASTY again.

AAnonymous UserFirst of all, this is a very old hotel that has seen truly better days. While maintained well, it has retained it's original furnishings and decor from the 1980s and 1990s. Staying here reminded me of my childhood travelling with my family in the 80s. The actual room does not look anything like the ones shown on the website. The hard floors mean you should wear their slippers or bring your own room slippers. The hot spring water advertised is just hot spring water pipes that go into your bathtub. There is a step that emulates hot spa step in the bathtub.
The breakfast was good with nice braised meat and eggs that you can put over your rice or porridge. There's also hot soy milk. But no hot tea, only coffee. The staff look tired but hard working.
There was a grumpy older lady receiptionist when we checked in and she was pretty rough in the check in process. E.g. ”if you don't put a number here, and you leave things in the hotel, we'll just throw them away! Just to tell you first.”
Room was quite small or cosy, depending on your perspective. The only thing new was the air-conditioner. The TV set had all the settings for channels but none worked. Internet wifi was not quite working too.

There’s also football and bubble balls for everyone to play with. It’s a great memory. However, one small drawback is that the water pressure of 512 is not enough. , there will be hot water and cold water suddenly, and children can easily get burned.
