第一次來黃山，本來是不想來宏村的，但是看到介紹還是來一趟吧，結果給我收穫了意外之喜，老闆娘真的特別客氣，而且房間整潔乾淨又衞生。他家還能做飯，衹要你自己買菜，他家廚房都是可以用的，房間設施都是比較齊全。真的是一次很不錯的體驗，宏村也特別的美麗，希望下次有機會還能再來。

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right in the heart of the scenic area. The hotel also provides station pick-up and drop-off, making for a seamless and very convenient experience. Although it was my first time booking a B&B, I was truly impressed. As mentioned in other reviews, the service was outstanding, and responses were prompt. All staff members were incredibly attentive and helpful. The restaurant food was also delicious; I particularly recommend the roasted local pork chop. My only minor suggestion would be for the breakfast to offer a bit more variety. They also provide a thoughtful and considerate laundry service. Our butler even gave us a tour of the B&B's other facilities and courtyard, which was a very pleasant surprise. Just one suggestion: it would be great if the children's policy could be more flexible or accommodating. While our specific issues were resolved smoothly, an initially unaccommodating policy might deter many potential guests.

We chose the Qingyin Caolu B&B, which is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. It only takes 2 minutes to walk into the alley from the big tree at the entrance of the village. My kid and I stayed in Yuese Xishi room, which had a big bed and a big window. The weather was fine and the view from the window was stunning.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was a mix of delight and slight inconvenience. The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather.
Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

DDeAlchemistThe owner sent someone to pick me from the west gate after i was missing the way to the hotel and tired dragging the luggage on uneven stone road. The owner has surprised me with an upgraded room with a little garden and projector. The owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful too.
The hotel is clean, modern and well design. It consists 2 buildings which are separated by the walkway. The location is perfect and short walking distance to west gate which is surrounded by restaurants and shops out of the hongcun scenic area. I had an enjoyable walk out of the scenic area after my early morning photography at 5am and before tourists have started flocking in.
A stay in hungcun is highly recommended if you are planning to have a peaceful photography session without any tourists at all. I will not wake up such early at 5am without the recommendations given by the owner. You will expect the calm and clearer water. Do take note that the locals may wash their clothes thus interrupting the calmness of the water.
I will definitely stay in this hotel again if going to hungcun again.

SShanna LeighTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

You can see the clouds on the mountain directly from the window, which is beautiful! My parents are super satisfied with the homestay. Environment: This trip to Huizhou chose to stay in Hongcun Scenic Area. The homestay is near the big tree at the entrance of the village. It is easy to find, convenient to enter and exit the scenic area, and it is also quieter. There is a small river next to the homestay, and the scenery is also good!
Facilities: Smart home appliances throughout the house, Xiao Ai controls the air conditioning, TV lighting and curtains, the bathroom quality is good, the shower water flow is also large, dry and wet separation, the hair dryer is a high-speed hair dryer, very easy to use! The mattress and quilt are also comfortable. There are dryers and even shoe dryers. It really reflects the care of the homestay in detail
Hygiene: The homestay can feel clean and tidy as soon as you enter the courtyard. The room is very new. There is no odor after entering the room. It is very clean. Although it is next to the river, it is not humid.
Service: What is worth mentioning is the service. From the communication with the boss lady on WeChat before check-in to the experience during the stay, it was very good! The staff is warm and thoughtful, and responds quickly! In addition to the boss lady, I have the most contact with Xiao Wang, the housekeeper, in the past few days. AAnonymous UserTo be honest, I don't like staying in B&Bs. Most B&Bs are not very grand. They are just for making quick money, but they don't provide any service. The employees are usually just friends or relatives, or they are from the same village, so there is no service to speak of. I would like to talk about my feelings about staying in this hotel. I won’t talk about the accommodation environment for now. Holiday economy housing is definitely expensive. We took a shower first after we moved in. Because the B&B didn’t provide laundry detergent or something like that, I used shower gel to wash my clothes. After washing, I found that there were not enough bathing supplies, so I contacted the B&B to send a set. They replied that the toiletries we were equipped with were more expensive, so they only gave us one set. They said that if we needed more, we could only get toiletries of another brand. I suddenly felt uncomfortable. The accommodation fee was more than 1,000 yuan a night, and I didn’t know how expensive this set of toiletries was? Four small bottles of Evian water were provided, and we didn't feel comfortable asking for more after we finished them. What I want to say is that your service concept and the fees you charge don't match, because I have stayed in countless hotels, and this is the first time I have encountered such a thing. Secondly, the breakfast is very simple. Among the four side dishes, only the pickled vegetables were bought and the only one that was freshly made was the fried tofu. Also, I heard a guest wanted to ask the management for some fruit, but you refused. As a guest, it took her courage to ask you for something. Is there something wrong with your management model and business model? I wanted it to be high-end, but the service was not up to par. I'm so embarrassed that I really want to get it off my chest.

YYanyuThis was our second stay at the resort. Our first visit was during the pandemic, when all activities were shut down, and we felt like we had the entire resort to ourselves. This time, the experience was much richer and even better.
If you're looking for a peaceful retreat from the strenuous climbs of Huangshan or the bustling crowds of Xidi and Hongcun, Banyan Tree is the perfect choice. Luchun Village is just about a 5-minute walk away, and a little further on foot, you'll reach Tachuan. Both are beautifully preserved, pristine villages.
Before our arrival, our butler, Felix, reached out to me, asking for our estimated arrival time the next day to ensure everything was perfectly pre-arranged. When I simply requested an extra comforter, he immediately offered to upgrade our room, provided it was available. What a pleasant surprise! We ended up staying in the largest room type at Banyan Tree, the Luchun Two-Bedroom Villa (room numbers starting with 2), which boasted over 200 square meters, plus an outdoor garden and a balcony. Our teenager absolutely loved having so much space to run up and down between floors. The room was so incredibly vast that the three of us sometimes had to call each other just to find one another!
Needless to say, as a five-star property, it had all the amenities you could possibly need, so I won't list them all. It featured three bathrooms, two bathtubs, three televisions, a three-door refrigerator, a microwave, and a washing machine. Both floors were impeccably clean; we were comfortable walking around barefoot. There wasn't a speck of dust or a single insect anywhere in the entire room – we were truly impressed.
The service, in particular, was truly exceptional. Felix, our butler mentioned earlier, was incredibly enthusiastic, offering us detailed introductions and thoughtful recommendations. During our three-day stay, our housekeeper, Jo Yao, was not only extremely polite but also showed great respect for our privacy. Whether she was cleaning, delivering a fruit platter, or performing turndown service, she always asked for permission before entering. Her conversations with us while working were also very genuine. There was also a friendly shuttle driver who drove us around the resort and recommended local delicacies; I regret not catching his name. All the staff members here are warm, genuine, and truly committed to providing excellent service. We are so grateful. Every single staff member greeted us with a smile and was always ready to assist with any request.
Breakfast was decent, though it could offer a wider selection. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with everything. The pet park had many cute animals, the swimming pool staff were very attentive, and the sunset ceremony had a wonderful sense of occasion.
We just returned today, and I wanted to write this review promptly to truly do justice to all the wonderful experiences Banyan Tree offered.
