met up with a mate for a couple of drinks after work and some games of pool for christmas, but WONT be going back there again!! we had 2 pints each and asked the barman twice about the taste and quality of all four pints. we had san miguel and carlsberg but both tasted flat and couldn’t even drink all the last one… as soon as i got hone i’ve felt line my stomach has an alien trying to get out!!! word of advice would be change your barrels more often and clean the cellar pipes out more frequently wont be returning

Just about ok
Room was very cold with no real heat from the radiator on a very cold night. Bed not the comfiest but reasonable for the price paid.

Not happy
The feedback is not a reflection of the staff, apparently the property has changed hands and the new owner was not present.
There was no hot water apart from the electric shower.
The room had not been cleaned thoroughly.
The cups had coffee marks on the outside of them.
The room was cold on arrival, the heating was not on whilst we were in the room, it was cold in the morning too. It was 0 degrees that night so it was very cold.
There was a small amount of toilet roll, like an 1/8 of a roll.
There was a squirrel or some rodent in the roof above our room that was scurrying about making a fair bit of noise.
Overall not a great experience.

Where do I start....
- No way of checking in after 9pm
- Rooms were uncomfortably hot
- No fans
- No irons
- No hangers
- No daily cleaning service
- Food is microwaved and chips deep fried about 10 times.
- No atmosphere
- Staff were OK not too much interaction
- Washroom was very cramped
- Doorframes are less than 6ft in height (Banged head twice ha)
- No breakfast served until 8 possibly as I had to leave at half 7 for work, like most people.
I would recommend the Hunters Lodge Inn which is just up the road, cheaper, breakfast served early, fan in rooms, iron in rooms, food is tremendous, good atmosphere, staff very friendly, daily cleaning.... Pretty much the opposite to this Bedsit.

Comfy bed
Comfy bed, clean room. Travel kettle barely fit in tiny bathroom sink to fill. Shower was scalding hot had to run on cold to avoid injury. Good location for local attractions
