Yangzhou Guangling District 5-star Hotels

Great location, nice and clean room, guest laundry adds extra convenience. There are a few well known local specialty restaurants nearby, all witin 5 mins walk. The 24 hour restaurant in the corner is also highly recommended. Hotel is very reasonably priced, it exceeded all our expectations. On checkout, we even received a gift from the hotel. Love it.

This hotel is located in Dongguan Street just a short 2 minute walk from the taxi drop off. The staff gave us a warm welcome and told us we had our room upgraded which was a lovely surprise. The room was spaceous and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and large screen TV. The under floor heating system was very good in the evenings as the temperature dropped. The bathroom itself was also very well appointed with a good size bath tub as well as a rain shower and plenty of hot water available at all times. The staff were lovely throughout the whole complex and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was plentiful and had many local varieties of food available. There is also a coffee shop on site which makes great quality flat white! I can highly recommend staying at this hotel as it is literally in Dongguan street and also just across the road from Pishi street. As a western guest I felt very comfortable at this hotel and would definitely visit again.

This hotel is in a great location—close to tourist attractions and many restaurants. It can get a bit noisy at night, but it’s still manageable. The staff in every department were very attentive and took great care of us. The standard room was a bit small and not very convenient for a family, but once we upgraded to a larger room, it became very comfortable. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. If I have a chance to visit Yangzhou again, I would definitely come back to this hotel.

The facilities and equipment are not good. It is estimated that it is a newly opened hotel. The windows cannot be opened. The electricity in the room is not available. Although it was repaired later, it still makes people sweat. I take a bath at night and there is yellow hair in the sewer. Why write this five-star praise is to see the face at the front desk, the service is in place, and there is an attitude to the mistakes. If there is no attitude, I will give a 1 point bad review.

The room is very spacious and bright. It has two Samoya, which is not crowded. There is also a small yard for dogs to play. The private soup in the room is very good, but you have to put water in advance. It will take a long time to put it temporarily. The housekeeper is very friendly and very careful to take the dog kennel water bowl wipes. There is a lawn next to it to bring dogs to play, and there is a beach. Maybe the time is wrong this time. There are no facilities on the beach. It is still very good to let the dog run.

Except that the room and the elevator have a strong smell due to the new decoration, there is really nothing wrong with it. There are also many delicious restaurants nearby, and it is also convenient to walk to Heyuan or Pishi Street. It is a good choice for tourists who like to enjoy the leisurely life in the old city.

Then I tried the Yangzhou cuisine in the hotel, which is more in line with my taste as a Zhejiang native. There are some Shaoxing cuisines, not all sweet. , the hygiene is OK, maybe because it is a new hotel; the service is also warm and considerate. When I first came in, I saw that I was wearing glasses and asked me to experience washing my glasses. Then they also told me that there is a hot spring in the public area, which is more suitable for health care in summer. It was a great experience The humidity is really good, and the welcome fruits in the room are also very popular. They are all seasonal fruits.

The resort grounds are beautiful. The room was great with the outside tub. It was very far from town and we could not get a Didi to come there so we had to take a bus to go to splendid west lake. I booked a room that said it came with free flow mini bar, fishing, biking and entry into the wetlands. There was no minibar and when I asked, they brought us two bags of chips and sodas. This is not what I call free flow or a bar. I complained to trip and they eventually sent us a bottle of wine. I never received any info about the fishing or biking, even though I asked. There is no entry fee to the wetlands so I’m not sure why they put this as a perk. Also, the bar out front was closed and the lobby bar only had fruit beer. There was a sign with 20 drinks listed but everything was out. The restaurant was amazing and the most positive experience. Great food and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was awesome. The restaurant had beverages but they do not open until 6 PM. I would not stay here again based on my experience.
