Yan＇an Hotels with Gym

Enjoyed a very pleasant 4 day trip to visit the historical and revolutionary sites of Yan’an and the trip was made much better thanks to a very comfortable and convenient stay at the Wanda Realm. For anybody who plans to visit the city I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is located just to the south of the old city of Yan’an in the newly built Wanda City area. It is a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the old center (depending on traffic) and it’s relatively easy to call a taxi with a ride hailing app like Didi. It’s also within walking distance of the Red Street 红街 tourism area that has a theatre, cinema, activities, coffee shops and restaurants. The hotel is new and all of the main public areas are clean and well maintained - such as the lobby, hotel rooms, restaurant and gym/pool. The gym contains my favorite Life Fitness gym equipment (a quality brand) and the multi-lane, 25m meter pool is a dream for anyone who likes to swim. It even offers a good view. The hotel breakfast is very good value for money and offers a high quality selection of Western-style food (bread, eggs, bacon, sausages and cereals) as well as very tasty local Chinese food - especially local Yan’an/Shanxi noodles and dumplings. For any foreigners like me, you’ll get a good sense of local taste with good ingredients. The room was very clean and spacious with nice balcony and great view of the lake and Red Street. Service staff was excellent and many staff speak good English. We even received a nice hand written message and welcome fruits. Especially if you travel with children, this is where you should stay in Yan’an. Thank you for making my holiday more enjoyable.

After comparing online for a long time, I chose Kanazawa, which has a better location. I went on a National Day trip and stayed for 6 consecutive days. The stay was OK. Advantages: large room, strong water pressure and high temperature for shower, breakfast is not delicious, but it is relatively rich, and it can be slightly changed every day. There is a swimming pool, small supplies are replenished in the room every day, two bottles of milk and a few snacks every day Disadvantages: The facilities are indeed old, the carpet and wallpaper look a bit old and dirty, but to be honest, it has been 15 years since then, and it is considered to be old. It is already very attentive to maintain it to the current state. The bed linen is OK, just put on a disposable quilt cover yourself, it's OK La I read the negative reviews online, such as the loud noise in the KTV and the smell in the bathroom. I was really grateful that none of these extreme situations happened! Since I stayed for several days, I would like to share some tips for staying with you 1. The hotel is divided into A and B areas. You can see Pagoda Mountain from the window of Area B 2. Although the hotel is quite close to Pagoda Mountain and Wanda, the road design in Yan'an is very unique. There are few crosswalks to cross the road. You need to walk through the tunnel to cross the road. You need to walk up and down the stairs, so it takes a while. Suggestions for the hotel: The glass of your sightseeing elevator is so dirty. I was speechless when I saw it. I don't know if it is for sightseeing or dirty~

The room is very clean and tidy. The light in the corridor is a bit dark. Other services are very thoughtful. Recommended

The park is covered with green plants. There are outdoor swimming pools for children and adults. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry and didn't have time to experience the water. There are also gardening arrangements, complete housing facilities and equipment, clean and tidy. The staff is very considerate. They turned on the air conditioner in advance, increased the amount of mineral water, and prepared children's slippers. The breakfast is very satisfactory, with Western-style pastries and grains with the characteristics of northern Shaanxi. When checking out, the front desk staff also gave a souvenir, a grain gift bag from northern Shaanxi. In short, I am satisfied! Satisfied! I will recommend other friends to come.

This stay was great! The room layout is reasonable, the space is fully utilized, and the lighting and ventilation are excellent. The bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and it feels like being wrapped in clouds when you lie on it. The room facilities are complete, with 24-hour hot water, complete shower facilities, and a dry and wet separation in the shower room. The room has good sound insulation, and the room is very quiet! The shower water is very good, parking is also very convenient, and the waiter is very enthusiastic and greets you enthusiastically when passing by!

The hotel rooms are OK, the front desk service is also good, there is a self-service laundry room, and the hotel parking lot is also very convenient. Let me focus on the restaurant adventure. The breakfast options seem to be quite varied, but the good ones are limited. You need to ask the waiter for butter, there are no knives and forks. When I wanted to spread butter, the waiter gave me a stirring stick, and you won’t believe it, it’s quite useful for spreading jam! On the first day, I wanted to have a bowl of noodles for breakfast. Outsiders didn't know what vegetarian sauerkraut noodles were, nor did they know what white noodles, green noodles, and mixed noodles were. After waiting for a long time, the short, round-headed chefs came out from the kitchen. They were all impatient. Either they didn't say anything, or they said: Vegetarian sauerkraut noodles are just minced meat noodles, which kind of noodles do you want? I didn't dare to breathe and just ordered some noodles, which were indeed not very tasty. The next day, I happened to have dinner with the hotel's female manager at the same time. I asked the chef if he had sunny-side-up eggs. The chef said yes and I'll fry them for you right now. Hey! The heat is just right, and the egg yolk seems to be about to flow out. This guy is really like a bird following a phoenix to fly far away~

The hotel was recommended by colleagues before, old school old money type, it is really comfortable to live, relatively quiet recommended

The hotel's front desk service is warm and thoughtful, cost-effective, the room is comfortable, clean and well-lit. It's just downstairs from the Baota Branch, very safe! I will stay here again next time. It's worth recommending😊

Disadvantages: 1. Don't choose the executive room facing the street. It's like standing on the edge of the road all night, listening to the sound of the endless stream of vehicles, and occasionally a horn, which is more exciting. The price is so expensive, and the cost performance is far from good. 2. The hotel breakfast is warmly presented, but I have to say that there is no highlight. The freshly cooked noodles are very unpalatable. It's unpalatable and a whole bowl is served. Don't you think it's a waste? There is also porridge, which is cold, and the dishes are average (matching the room or breakfast price, it's not worth it at all).
