Yamanakako Hotels with Pools

Second visit. Mt. Fuji is clear in winter. In the morning, I went to the illumination square in front of the restaurant because it was Akafuji before sunrise. From the right end to red purple, when the sunrise started at about 1 ／ 3, I returned to the magnificent Fuji, but the sunrise on the left, the full moon on the upper right, and Mt. Fuji in the middle. I have to see this. Under the sunrise is the sea of clouds in Lake Yamanaka. The view that there is everything to see. Since there are many families, the rooms are large and you can see Lake Yamanaka and Mt. Fuji from all rooms. The bath is on the 2nd floor with B1 and the mountain trail is clear from the observation bath. You should see people in the season. It is a good hotel that is calm.

Marriott staff welcomed us at the curb side. Check in was painless and soon we were off to our room. In room hot springs was a pleasant touch. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Even the Japanese pillows were soft and cozy. The food was top notch and catered to every taste. We opted for the dinner package—well worth the money. After dinner we rang for a late night massage…should have rethought that one. Asked for two therapist and got one. She had no clue what a massage was! Seriously!!! She literally poked at me with her finger tips. The pushed my head agains the pillow for ten minutes. Finally was had enough and she was dismissed with her full pay. Noted, she was not affiliated with the hotel, she was merely the lady they called. Please never call her again! Loved the hotel and the view. A must for anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Because it was a corner room, it is occupied by Mt. Fuji alone from the room! The meal was never a lot of items, but the seasoning was very good. The soup of the miscellaneous boiling was the best. The room was on the bed by fukafuka and toilet bus, and the public bath was complete and nice. There was one difficulty and there was no key locker in the dressing room. There is a free locker at the entrance of the bath, so the valuables are left there.

We are glad to have stayed in Fuji Matsuzono Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 3 and there was a small table with 2 chairs that allowed us to sit around to have some late night snacks and drinks. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When I approached them at 1am for an additional pillow, they immediately attended to the request. The bath area for the onsen was clean and spacious. The amenities provided were also good quality. There is also a great selection of food during breakfast. Most importantly, room was facing Mt Fuji and we managed to get a nice morning view of Mt Fuji when we woke up. The view was spectaculars and there is a nice courtyard that one can take nice photos with Mt fuji in the background. The hotel is also located in a very convenience location. Once you exit the hotel, you will see Lake Yamanakako and there were many eateries nearby, all within walking distance. As we drove, it was also convenience that Lawson and 7-11 is less than 5 min drive away. Will definitely visit again.

Very comfortable and spacious place. Recommend. The landlord is friendly. He showed the flexibility and delivered my breakfast in advance in the night, which enabled me to depart to the Fuji mountain for a long distance and time consuming trail early in the next morning.

This Riyokan is a true gem. It’s located right next to the lake and the bus station! The accommodations are very clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The authentic food is outstanding, with a delicious breakfast spread that rivals 5 star hotels! The real hidden gems though, are the family members who put their heart and soul into running this humble yet amazing place, and treating all guests like family. The son and father of the family actually took time out of their busy schedule, to drive and show us around the area (unsolicitedly), and guided us with our trip in every way possible. Honestly, ईंट felt like we were visiting our Japanese family for vacation :) Yet another example of true Japanese warmth and hospitality that we were fortunate enough to experience on what’s been a wonderful trip! Yoeshi san wa, domo aarigato gosaima****a!

The room is a five-minute walk from the Hirano Beach of Lake Yamanaka, facing Mount Fuji, which is great, but there are not many restaurants around, so it is suitable to drive there and buy food to cook in the B&B. By the way, choose 101 or 102 to have a direct view of Mount Fuji. Then you need to check in by yourself. If the mobile phone link cannot be done, there is a small house next to room 101 with an iPad to handle it.

very nice hotel with Japanese style room and breakfast. we've got push bike rent for free and around 6pm they offer hot chocolate and marshmallow skewer to cook in the fire, in the gardenin front of the mt. Fuji. the onsen is pretty good too and rooms are big. I would book it again

I/We found this hotel has an ideal base for my quest to climb Mount Fuji which I did successfully on the 7th of July 2023. It was very pleasant to stay at this hotel. The owners are very welcoming and will do their very best to cater for your needs. Such as providing an English breakfast; which was better than an English breakfast in England (photo). They went so-far as to bake excellent English bread. I did enjoy the Japanese Mackerel breakfast too. The owners are very friendly and have a good sense of humour, and it as from using the translator an animated ourselves to be understood. We played table tennis and use the available bicycles to ride down to the lakeside. The mountain view (to the left) from the room is in fact Fuji. The room was a good size for our needs, comfortable and clean. The hot springs are a natural luxury which we would have used more but my legs were sunburnt from my climb up Mount Fuji. Parking was easy and convenient to unload our luggage. I/we would definitely stay again as it would be our first choice in that area. A thank you to the owners ( Mr & Mrs(Lily?)).
