I was surprised to see this historic building suddenly appear just off the main street of Yuda. I was thrilled to be able to stroll through this garden in the morning and at night. I can't imagine how much time and effort it takes to maintain it. White herons visit from time to time, making it picturesque. The guest rooms are important cultural properties and have a history, so they are not modern, but they are well-cleaned and the bathrooms are new, so it is comfortable. There were many dragonflies flying around (apparently the nymphs eat the mosquito larvae), and I was not stung even when I strolled through the garden. All partially used amenities are replaced. The interior can also be enjoyed, with freshly arranged flowers in the tokonoma alcove and elaborate transoms. There were more than enough towels prepared in the large public bath, outdoor bath, and room, which made me feel rich. I felt that the bathhouse had not been renovated very recently. The water is clear and pleasant because it is a flowing water. I was happy to see a dressing table. I don't really like putting on makeup in the bathroom. There are no vending machines or shops in the building. Since this is an inn at this price, I think it is expected that you ask the waitress to bring you what you want to drink. There is a 7-Eleven about 3 minutes away, so you can buy what you need right away. The tea set is changed three times: in the morning, in the evening, and before going to bed. They also brought a pot of cold water before going to bed, which was very thoughtful. They brought different things every day, such as tea and sweets and the morning newspaper. The meals are Japanese food made with local ingredients. The sashimi, local meat, and puffer fish were all delicious. I ate it all. In the morning, we had a traditional inn breakfast. There was enough food so we didn't need to have lunch, and we enjoyed sightseeing without being bothered by the hassle of lunch. It takes just over an hour to get to Tsunoshima Bridge, and the Yuda IC has been built, so it's convenient. As time passes, you may not be able to stay here someday. Please do so now.

Sansuien is a historic inn where Emperor Showa once stayed, and its gardens are a scenic spot that can be visited by purchasing an admission ticket. There are also bathing facilities for day trips.
