Really loved the hotel for this trip! The ladies at the front desk were super friendly, and the cleaning staff did a thorough job. The hotel's location is fantastic too – just a five-minute walk to Yanwu Bridge, and you can enjoy continuous sea views on bus route 29. It's also very close to the subway station, a quick walk away. Plus, all the main attractions are nearby. All in all, I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiamen!

Step outside and you're in a bustling old street full of local life; return to a serene and comfortable haven. The wooden decor is warm and elegant, and from the window sill, you can catch a glimpse of the streetscape – so pleasant to feel the breeze in the evening. The bedding is skin-friendly, and the toiletries have a delicate scent, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. The host was as warm as a friend and gave great tips that helped us avoid many tourist traps. I stayed here for two nights, and it was so comfortable and relaxing, truly the warmest comfort on my trip~

11360195****The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Gulangyu Island. It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to Longtou Road, where all the restaurants are, and attractions like Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden. We stayed in Building 9, which was very peaceful. It hardly felt like the bustling National Day holiday, but as soon as we stepped out of the hotel, we were met with throngs of people – truly two different worlds! The hotel has a private back exit for guests that leads to a quiet beach with very few people. The kids absolutely loved it, braving the heat and strong sun for over two hours, catching several small crabs.
The hotel used to be a government retreat and is now open to the public. While the facilities and decor are a bit dated, you can tell the original fixtures are still of good quality. The room even came with tea ceremony tools, and the kids had a blast playing tea master – the Dahongpao tea was delicious.
The hotel service is outstanding. They offer exclusive shuttle transfers from the ferry terminal to the hotel when you arrive and depart. If you're heading straight to the ferry after sightseeing, you can arrange a time with the hotel, and they'll deliver your luggage to the terminal, allowing you to enjoy your day worry-free. The staff are also incredibly helpful; knowing the kids wanted to play on the beach, they even brought sand-digging tools. When we encountered a staff member on the road and asked for directions to the beach, he simply walked us all the way there. We genuinely loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too.
The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay.
The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself.
Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open.
The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc.
In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

YYoushenfensijilaomageA surprisingly good choice for my layover in Xiamen! The location is excellent, less than a twenty-minute drive directly to Zengcuo'an. The hotel also boasts a strong artistic ambiance; the lobby sculptures and in-room art pieces are tastefully selected. The view from the hotel is fantastic too. The bedding was soft and breathable, ensuring a great night's sleep until morning. Facilities, from the laundry room to the gym, are all well-equipped. Sitting in the backyard garden for a cup of tea instantly soothed the weariness of travel.

BBlindSmileThis was my second time staying here, and I chose the Deluxe Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and felt more like a serviced apartment—with a huge sofa that could easily seat 6–8 people, a proper living area, and a comfy king bed that made it easy to get good rest.
The hotel has its own dedicated lobby for drop-off and pick-up, which made arrivals smooth and hassle-free.
Staff were friendly and attentive. I was offered free breakfast, and they even helped with laundry by moving my clothes from the washer to the dryer and placing them at the counter for pickup—just let them know in advance.
The food was great, with a mix of Western and Chinese options that were both delicious and satisfying.
The location is convenient, especially if you're attending events at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, and getting around the area is easy.
Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Everything was handled with care. I’ll definitely be back.

工作人员非常友善且乐于助人。他们为我提供了免费早餐，还贴心地帮我把洗衣机里的衣服转移到烘干机，然后放到前台等我来取——提前告诉他们一声就可以。
中餐和西餐都很好吃，早餐种类丰富，品质也不错。
酒店的位置很方便，去厦门国际会展中心非常近，出行也很方便。
整体体验非常顺畅和舒适，服务周到，物有所值。下次还会再来。

Yyzcs1985I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The front desk staff were excellent, attentive, and enthusiastic. Food deliveries could be brought straight to the room. The room facilities were very new, and even the hairdryer was a high-speed one. The overall experience was fantastic, offering incredible value for money. There was also a very unique, round pool table at the front desk. Breakfast was delicious, featuring Xiamen's special Shacha noodles. The coffee beans chosen were also excellent. All in all, the attention to detail made for a superb stay.
The hotel was beautifully decorated with a full Christmas ambiance. Below it was a small square with several restaurant options. The terraces outside the restaurants connected directly to the square below, which was very nice and convenient. And the ballpoint pens at the front desk wrote really well too!

RRam KondaAt first, we were disappointed because they put us into a small room that we felt was not worth the price we paid for. However, the next day they upgraded our room into a nice one with a separate toilet and shower area. There were wide windows and the view was the quiet road below and two small mountains in the distance. Not bad eh! This was the time we started feeling comfortable and relaxed in our 4 nights of stay here. The bed and pillows were firm and very good to sleep in. Good for relaxing after a long day of touring or working. There was a small dining table as well as some space or area to work and put your other stuff. The toilet is fully automated so it was really comfortable to use. The staff in general were accommodating and the female receptionist manning the lobby was always enthusiastic and helpful. On the other hand, location is far from downtown so it might cost you a bit more if you take the didi often. Also, breakfast fare was sparse when we were there, probably because it was still the tourist season. Not sure though but for whatever reason, when we got to the breakfast nook at around 8am, most of the food was gone. We had to wait for about 30 min for some trays to be refilled with food while the rest simply remained empty. If you don’t like local breakfast, then this hotel’s breakfast is not for you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for us.

It's super close to Zhongshan Road, you can walk right out to explore中华城 (Zhonghuacheng), and it's also very near the beach. It's fantastic to be able to step out and immediately be at a scenic spot when you're traveling. GGuest UserMy favorite hotel on this trip is this one. The price is super! The hotel staff can also upgrade the sea view room. The sea view is very good. From check-in to check-out, every staff member makes me feel at home. The facilities in the room are also very comfortable, the mattress is soft and the shower water is strong. Moreover, the location of the hotel is also very convenient, there are many delicious restaurants and attractions nearby. I will stay here next time I come to Xiamen and recommend it to my friends.
