The walls were very thin, we could hear people next door through the walls. The balcony was a shared balcony with people next door, so, not much privacy, also could hear them from the room when they were on the balcony. The historical charm of the hotel did not make up for the lack of comfort. Beds were ok. No place to hang towels

The crew members were friendly, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and the location was convenient—everything was perfect. I especially loved the bathtub on the balcony. Highly recommended! Additionally, this hotel is baby-friendly. They provided special tableware for babies, and the crew members were so kind to our child. They even gave us a balloon, which our baby absolutely loved. On the day of our checkout, it was raining heavily. One of the female crew members, who was wearing contact lenses and had her hair pinned up with a clip, kindly brought us an umbrella. She found us outside and walked us to the taxi while holding the umbrella over us, making sure we could get in safely. Her kindness truly touched our hearts. 厦门中山路步行街镇海路地铁站云居酒店is a very central hotel located in the midst of Xiamen popular pedestrian walking shopping belt. This hotel is very new with modern European styling design. Amenities are great with electronic toilet seat, lighted mirror, smart switches and there is washer and dryer on the top floor. Another highlight is the huge high definition projector in the room with a wide range of TV shows and Movies to enjoy. I booked a total of 7 rooms for 5 nights stays with my family and friends and we truly enjoy our stay. The young handsome and pretty receptionists are oustanding in every aspects from hotel check-in, answering our every requests and queries. I hope the hotel management can view them as vital assets and contributions to the success of this hotel.
