Xiamen Jimei District Hotels

This hotel is located right next door to Xingleen Bay Hotel; I decided to try it out for a different experience. The area by the sea is quite undeveloped, but if you walk about 500 meters in the other direction, you'll find dining options. They offer a free shuttle service to Xiamen North Railway Station, which is a great convenience. Breakfast: There was a decent variety of choices, and it was quite acceptable. **Facilities:** The gym is a bit small, but the outdoor swimming pool is lovely. The hot spring is right next to the pool and isn't very large. It was my first time soaking in a hot spring that overlooks a road, which felt a bit unusual. **Cleanliness:** Clean. **Ambiance/Environment:** The lobby is undeniably grand, but it leans towards a somewhat gaudy, nouveau riche aesthetic. It almost feels like an attempt to mimic Macau's decor, but the overall scale and attention to detail don't quite meet the mark. However, the rooms themselves are quite elegant and tastefully decorated. **Service:** 1. The staff have an excellent service attitude. 2. A minor point: access to the hot spring is limited to a single use. 3. Furthermore, much of the information displayed on public signs about hotel operations and timings is inconsistent with reality. My advice is always to call the front desk for the most accurate operating hours.

Kids friendly hotel with great playground for kids and an bit outdated spa area with lots of play areas for kids. Everything feels but outdated but still clean and functional. For the value you get the price is fantastic. Service really great and our kids felt very happy and comfortable. Location is ok, no beach in front of the hotel but everything is in close distance and can be reached on 5-10 min by car.

Fire safety facilities, especially escape doors, can be made safer and more easily followed.Doors on escape routes must not be locked. They must be obstruction free at all times.

I stayed here for a week and I can say I did a best choice. They offer a late night free congee buffet between 930pm to 11pm which is uncommon to other hotels. Thank you, Atour Hotel Jimei University and the staffs and to my little friend, Fu Yufei. Until next time...

My stay at the hotel was memorable and super addictive. Besides the location and friendly behavior of the staff, I think the Management are very knowledgeable about Hospitality. A gift of fresh fruits on arrival? Damnnn, I'm going back there 😍😍😍

A hotel that is past its prime, but ultimately an ok choice if you haven't got much more in terms of options. Comfy bed, clean, toiletries are fine. But the overall look is very dated and could use a full top to bottom renovation. All functional, but with a bit of work could be more ideal. Breakfast was ok, but should have more western options for a buffet of this size.

Stay at the Kyriad Hotel Xiamen. The room is equipped with Xiaodu smart system, which can be called directly: Xiaodu Xiaodu turns on/off the air conditioner, lights, TV, curtains, etc.; the smart system is well done. The parking lot is free to use during the stay. Please scan the free parking code at the front desk when leaving.

The hotel environment is impeccably clean, and being surrounded by trees, the air quality is excellent. The gym facilities are top-notch. Rooms feature double-layered soundproofing, ensuring a very quiet and peaceful stay. Upon check-in, as a member, I was treated to complimentary welcome fruits and drinks, and my room was also upgraded. For breakfast, the pastries were delicious, and the mung bean soup was a refreshing treat, perfect for cooling off.

Best have WeChat and a Mainland China number. That way all questions can be responded promptly. The mobile number can easily call the driver who is so accommodating. He does pickup from subway stations, high speed railway, and even from a recommended local restaurant. The hotel room was not very clean the first night. After asking the room to be made the next day, it was much better. I got to wash/dry laundry, they have a cook onsite to prepare breakfast noodles. I often took subway, regular bus, BRT bus or call Didi. BRT bus was the best as I can get to University Town and shop in Festival or ioi mall. The regular bus ..I took to an outlet mall to shop for clothing. China has relaxed rules for foreigners booking hotels. I am not a local yet they accepted my documents checking in. Contact trip.com to see if you get a hotel booking from changing your country settings. Jimei District is far from Huli and Siming (30-52 minutes on subway) but very close to Jimei School Village and Xiamen North Railway (5-15 minutes on subway). If you plan on doing day trips from Xiamen, this is a good hotel to stay at. Ask on WeChat for the driver pick up point. They will send you a detailed video. In my experience, the hotels with great customer service stands out more than the aesthetics/look and feel. The hotel staff deserves the recognition for great customer service.

The service of this hotel is very thoughtful, the staff is warm and friendly, and it makes people feel like spring breeze. The rooms are clean and tidy, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel is in a good location, convenient travel and pleasant surroundings. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious. The overall price is very high, highly recommended to other passengers, looking forward to staying again next time.
