Xiamen Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street Yaduo Yueqi Hotel

As soon as I entered, I was overwhelmed by a strong stench, probably left over from the previous guests. Since there were no windows, the smell lingered. Within five minutes, I felt nauseous and breathless. I asked to check out, but they wouldn't. Instead, they upgraded me to a room with a window. Aside from the window, that room was a complete mess. The quilt was dirty, and I felt itchy all over in the middle of the night. The entire room was covered in dust, and I spent ages mopping it all over. It was absolutely speechless. I've never stayed in a room with such poor hygiene. The air conditioner was old and wouldn't work. When it did, it made a tractor-like roar. The pillows were also dirty, and I asked the front desk to bring them any, but they never brought any. The Wi-Fi wouldn't connect either. They said they'd check, and then disappeared! This is the dirtiest, worst, and most unpleasant hotel I've ever stayed in in Xiamen! I was so tired I forgot to take pictures. I really should let you see how filthy your room is. Also, the door closes after 10 PM, without any prior notice to guests. Seeing this note was absolutely speechless!

The light broke and was not replaced.
