The weather was fine, and my parents went to Xiamen for a trip. We specially arranged a night for them in Gulangyu Island on Valentine's Day. It was a luxury for a special holiday. My parents were very happy during the whole stay. It turned out to be the right choice! Huangyan 36 Hotel, a private residence over 110 years old, has only 9 rooms with a strong Nanyang style. The hotel is so beautiful! I came to Gulangyu because of the beauty of the hotel. But I like it even more because of the warm, caring and sincere service of the hotel staff. It feels like the hotel's quality is maintained, but at the same time there is a butler service like a boutique homestay. The hotel was there to receive us from the moment we landed in Xiamen. The driver picked us up from the airport to the pier, and the butler picked us up on the island and sent us to the hotel. These few days in Gulangyu reminded me of a perfect travel experience in Capri, Italy. Our Gulangyu is not inferior, and our Huangyan 36 is not inferior to those luxurious five-star hotels in Capri~
