Hotels near Kulangsu, Xiamen

I loved this hotel. It is well designed and the staff were very friendly and willing to help. They have a dedicated wechat that you can contact for help during anytime if the day. It was easy to find, not far from the ferry pier and they sent be directions a day before arriving. The hotel was also near to a beach. The breakfast was fully vegetarian and it was absolutely delicious and well presented . The room itself was a little small, and the only issue was the shower was in the middle between the basin and the toilet. However there was an issue with my first room and they upgraded me to a better room. This room was bigger and the shower was bigger and also not in the middle. The room was clean and they provide free drinks . Due to the covid outbreak in Xiamen I was due to stay here six days but only ended up staying 2 nights as I needed to leave Xiamen . The hotel was kind enough to fully refund me the 4 nights I had booked and this was a major plus on their side. On check out they gave me some water while I was waiting and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this hotel .

The room was very clean and spacious. Most importantly, the front desk lady was very warm and gentle, with a very nice voice. She also sent us segmented locations to prevent us from going the wrong way. We arrived at the hotel very late, and we were given a free room upgrade and breakfast ❤️❤️❤️ In addition, the hotel is very close to the scenic area. It takes five minutes to walk to Sunlight Rock and seven minutes to walk to Gangzaihou Beach. Shuzhuang Garden is next to the beach, which is very convenient. And the scenery is super beautiful!

Because it is a homestay, I thought the hygiene might not be very good. Unexpectedly, the hygiene is very good. The boss is also very nice. The hotel has sand digging tools that can be borrowed for free, and the most detailed map, so I never got lost. The whole environment is very artistic, and the breakfast is very rich. The water pressure in the room is very high, and there are many charging ports. It is cost-effective among homestays, and it is of very good quality. If I come to Gulangyu next time, I will still choose to stay in this homestay. (*^ω^*)

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed 4 nights with two different designs of rooms. This hotel was very stylish and clean as I expected. Highly recommended! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to 李李， she help received my parcel and because we have extra two more medium luggage on the last day, she very helpful and help us call the special taxi with great price to airport. I hope I will have a chance to return to this hotel in future. This was our first time traveling to China. We have very good memories of this trip. We met a lot of nice people in China.

Excellent Hotel with a lot of freebies... During check-in, Hotel Staff Ms. Lai Li Ling took the efforts to explain all the hotel facilities. Thus, we are able to enjoy the afternoon high tea and also the late nigh snack before & after the shopping trip around ZhongSan shopping area. All of us were really satisfied with our decision to stay at Atour light at xismrn zhong shan Rd. -Excellent location to all placevof interest -Ezcellent service from all the young staff from Atour like , need to mention 小鱼，嘉义， 果果 椰丝 蓝朋友， everyday we were greet with smile, gifts n williness to elp in whatever were unsure in this city - housekeeping n kitchen staff were so polite too - clean, new, quiet environment to stay - will strongly recommend

It is a small hotel on a single floor (L3) but the room is big. The front desk staff helped me to change to a quieter room for free. This location is near many of the main attractions and there's lots of food downstairs. Minus 1 point for cleanliness as I realised that they did not clean below the beds.

I had a great stay at the htoel. The place was spotless, and the reception team, especially Xiao Chen and Xiao Ting, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When I asked for directions, they not only provided clear guidance but also shared contacts and recommended lots of great places to visit. Highly recommend!

External looks dated but internal ok. However lobby has a strong stench, bathroom as well but mild still bearable think sewage system old. Otherwise room spacious and clean. Aircon heater does not work need to install standalone heater if need only found out on second day after feedback to front desk. Perhaps locals are familiar with this but not foreign visitors.

The accommodation experience is great! The room is spacious and bright, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the sound insulation is also very good. There is also a pool in the yard. The children have a lot of fun playing! The surrounding environment is quiet, the transportation is convenient, and there are many food stores around. The overall facilities are novel, the service is thoughtful and meticulous, and the cost-effectiveness is high. I will choose here next time!
