I found it impossible to contact the reception with my esim. You have to own a Chinese sim and call the reception who then arranges for the driver to pick you up. Everything was conducted in a very official business-like manner, no warmth at all. Instructions were barked out. My luggage was grudgingly allowed to be stored at the recep after I told them what time I could be back. And the most ironic part was finding that my room came with a Frozen theme.

I recently stayed at Atour Hotel on a business trip and the overall experience was great! The hotel is strategically located, very close to the airport and with convenient transportation, which is very friendly for travelers who catch early flights or arrive late at night. The room is clean and tidy, the decoration style is simple and warm, the bedding is comfortable, and I slept soundly. I particularly like the detailed design of the room. 跟家人來咸陽看張韶涵的演唱會，因為就一天的時間，比較緊張。第二天就得趕早班機，選擇了臨機場近的酒店，總體覺得很滿意，房間乾淨整潔的。最重要的是有接送服務，因為早上起的晚，沒來得及吃早飯。

A clean comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The hotel provides a free (comfortable!) shuttle service to the nearby Xi'an International Airport. (Surprisingly, even though I had a very early flight, there was no problem getting on a shuttle that left the hotel at 04:00!) In advance if my stay, I had a package sent to this hotel via an express service, and they managed that perfectly, even proactively contacting me to inform me when it was delivered! Although it is not right in town, there is a nice informal restaurant quite close, as well as a large convenience store! Due to its lication close to the airport, and not far from the Xianyang train stations, this Is a perfect ”exit” hotel if you are leaving the Xi'an area. I would definitely stay here again!

LOCATION: We arrived very late at night into Xi’an Airport. This was a very easy hotel to get to from the Airport, approximately 16 RMB to Terminals 1/2/3 and 32 RMB to Terminal 5. Although the Airport is far away from central Xi’an or the Terracotta Mausoleum, DiDi’s are very cheap way to get around and the road infrastructure provides excellent connections. CLEANLINESS: The room was clean, with linen and shower facilities being to a high standard with nice toiletries. SERVICES: We spoke only English, and while there is an inevitable language barrier, the hotel staff were nonetheless helpful. The morning breakfast was good. While Chinese breakfasts can be foreign to those with a western palette, there were sufficient options and variety to fill us for two very busy days. The coffee machine was not great, but otherwise no issue.

The hotel is very quiet, there is nothing around it, except for a convenience store. There is a pick-up service, and it takes about 20 minutes to drive to the T5 passenger terminal. It is very convenient to check in if you want to catch an early morning flight. If you arrive too early, you don't need to buy breakfast separately. The hotel will give you some dry food, which is quite humane.
