I stayed at the only Sofitel Legend in China. Let me start with my verdict: the service was excellent, but the hardware was truly terrible. On my first night, I woke up in the wee hours of the morning and suddenly heard a loud noise. After a long investigation, I discovered it was something like a fan running overhead at the end of the hallway. The noise was being transmitted directly into my room (since it was the last room on the highest floor). I called the housekeeper, and I have to praise him. I can't remember his name, but I remember him being a thin, fair-skinned man with glasses. He immediately located the source of the noise and thoughtfully offered a solution. He apologized and explained that there was only one room left, the one across from my own, so I had to move to that room. The next day, after asking if there were any other rooms available, the housekeeper helped me move to a room with a window in the bedroom. However, the air conditioner in that new room also had a problem... After running for a while, it would make a loud noise that was so loud it kept me awake. Thinking it might be a common problem in all rooms, I gave up. The hotel service is indeed excellent, and I came here to experience it, which was fine. However, the hardware was a major issue... I hope it can be resolved soon.

The room was very clean and quiet, and the retro decor was elegant and photogenic. Hattie, the front desk lady, was very welcoming and even asked if we wanted coffee or champagne during check-in. The service was excellent, and check-in was very quick. This hotel even allows for a seated check-in. The concierge was very attentive and, upon seeing the car approaching, proactively opened the door and helped with luggage. The hotel is in a great location, close to the subway station and popular attractions like the Bell Tower. The 1,688 yuan package I bought on Ctrip, which included afternoon tea for two, was a great deal. I'll definitely stay at the Sofitel Legend Xi'an next time I visit Xi'an.

The service at the Legend Hotel is indeed great, and it makes you feel at home. If you make an appointment in advance, they also provide travel photography services to record the wonderful moments in the hotel.
