We went to Wuyishan hoping to get a true tea experience and this was absolutely incredible. The location is truly hidden away amidst tea fields (make sure the owner can contact you before the stay to arrange a pick up). The house is beautifully renovated with personal touches from the owner - both traditional and modern. We had a wonderful time getting to know the owner and their friends over many rounds of top quality tea, and home style family meals. The owners went above and beyond to show us the region and explain the intricacies of tea making and tea drinking with us. We had a wonderful, relaxing time and would highly recommend! 多谢你们的照顾！希望能再来！

Living in Yishan Lanruo is equivalent to living in a tea ceremony art museum. Their tea is the very famous Xiaowen Tea from Wuyi Mountain. It is a high-end product in a niche brand. The now popular Niu Shou can be purchased for 10W per pound. We drank tea on the first floor and stayed on the tatami on the second floor. Here we temporarily realized the freedom of rock tea and experienced the embrace of narcissus on the left and cinnamon on the right. Early the next morning, the hotel lady took us to Niulankeng Tea Garden. The tea trees grown in the cracks of the rocks in the huge Danxia landform were extremely fragrant and the service was warm and thoughtful! Five-star praise!

Lovely resort very out in the green, whilst close to Wuyigong palace, all peaks (Tianyoufeng, Dawangfeng, Shuilian Cave) as well as Duiia Qu for food. You can basically walk everywhere if you have enough time. The room was spacious and clean, the service was excellent, there is also a small travel agency that can take you for tea tasting and seeing how they grow and produce tea in Wuyishan. Breakfast was good, rather Chinese though. Receptionists were lovely and helpful, as well as room service. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.
