Hotels in South Entrance of the Scenic Area/Nanyuanling, Wuyishan

We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

Stayed for two nights, the experience was very good. The front desk contacted me by phone as soon as I placed the order, and immediately created a service group for us to provide various travel service consultations. Parking is convenient in front of the store, and they came to greet us as soon as we got off the car. It is also convenient to travel. It is also close to Nanlukou and Impression Dahongpao. The scenery of the tea mountain next to it is also very beautiful. By the way, the boss's tea factory is at the end of the tea garden. I heard that it was renovated at the end of last year and you can visit it for free. The boss's wife will take us to understand the production process of Wuyi Rock Tea and exchange tea tasting. It added a lot of color to our trip to Wuyi Mountain.

I decided to come to Wuyishan on the spur of the moment and booked this B&B by chance. I was very pleasantly surprised and highly recommended. Pick-up service: When we arrived at Wuyishan North Station that night, the B&B had already arranged a pick-up service. Master Wu who was waiting for us was very nice. When I saw him, I felt at ease and looked forward to the upcoming trip. Landscape: When you come to the B&B, you feel like you are in the misty south of the Yangtze River. The B&B architecture is antique and you can enjoy making tea while staying in the B&B. The scenery of Wuyi Mountain is very pleasant, and the scenery of the B&B is also refreshing. Service: The lady at the front desk who received us was very nice, enthusiastic and attentive, and my mother praised her repeatedly👍. The sweetness given 🍇 instantly alleviates the fatigue of the journey. The landlady is beautiful, generous and classy, ​​and helped us buy tickets for the bamboo raft. Breakfast: rich and delicious, feels like home. Transportation: It is very close to the scenic spot, and it only takes a few minutes to get there by taxi. This trip to Wuyi Mountain increased the sense of happiness and comfort because of Jianhe B&B. I will stay here again next time I come to Wuyishan.

Had a great stay! Room was clean and comfortable, stocked with basic amenities. Location was very convenient as public transportation stops (bus and tram) were nearby. The national park’s entrance was less than 10 mins away by bus and I never had to wait more than 5 mins for a bus to arrive. There’s also a convenience store downstairs. But it was the owners’ hospitality that made the stay for me. They were so helpful with recommendations and bookings. Be sure to try and bring home some of their teas!

The hotel has all the necessary amenities, including drinking water and convenient showers. There's even a tea-making area. Downstairs, there's a food stall serving breakfast, late-night snacks, dinner, and lunch. The TV is also there, unlike some other hotels where the TV is just for show. The prices are very reasonable. Buses to Wuyishan are very convenient. If you're in a hurry, a taxi is only a few yuan.

The dining experience focuses on the creative cuisine of ”tea fragrance in food”, rock tea smoked crispy chicken, tea-scented duck, local smoked goose, daily freshly picked seasonal vegetables and breakfast tea ceremony, full of taste and ritual. The outdoor garden covering an area of ​​100 mu is a small Wuyi Mountain. The pavilion at the ancient wharf of Chongyang River in the hotel allows us to experience the fun of drinking tea outdoors in the mountains. This season is also the time when the fruits of the hotel are ripe. The organic loquats picked and tasted just now tasted like the fruits we ate when we were children.

Especially comfortable journey, fortunately I chose a clean and stylish Sanqiu Villa, and the books placed in the store can be seen. Transportation is very convenient (taro beef won my heart), there is a light rail close to the entrance of the scenic spot. The itinerary arranged by the boss was very good. It was a surprise to climb the mountain and sit on the bamboo raft to watch the show. In the evening, I had tea and chat with the boss, and felt the tea life of Wuyi Mountain. It is highly recommended to play for a few more days.

We came here in the off-season, so the price is relatively cheap. The owner of the B&B is very good and very enthusiastic. He will call a day in advance to ask what time we will arrive. When we arrive, we will pick him up at the tram station, even if the tram arrives at Nanyuanling Station. After that, it’s actually quite close to walk; after checking in, the boss will explain some travel recommendations in detail. Of course, it depends on the individual. The boss is quite kind to people who are away from home; the condition of the room is the same as when booking a room. I saw the same thing, so don’t worry, it’s also very neat and clean. I casually asked if there were any recommended restaurants. After eating, I felt that it tasted good and was cost-effective compared to what I ate later.
