Pet friendly Hotels Wuppertal

Excellent location close to buses and trains. Excellent breakfast. Cleaning service below average. Due to sustainable cleaning policy rooms are cleaned upon request (not every two days as they say) it means that you run out of shower gel (we had to ask at the reception), towel (had to phone reception) and toilet paper! When they clean it is not accurate (one bed was made and the other not). There is no phone in the rooms and airdryer is a toy (stops every minute) We asked for a real air dryer and they didn’t have it (how come?? What do they do if your hairdryer breaks down? Leave you with wet hair?) but carefully explained how the hairdryer works (what?)

We stayed here one night as we wanted to visit Wuppertal to go on the suspended railway. The hotel is ideally situated just 2 minutes walk from Landgerich station. The hotel is extremely clean & bright. We had a triple room which was extremely spacious. There was plenty of hanging space. The bathroom was a reasonable size & there were plenty of towels & toiletries. Checkout is 12pm. There’s a free car park, this isn’t huge so just be aware of this, we didn’t arrive until after 8pm & managed to find a space. There are a number of electric charging points in the carpark for those needing them. We were able to leave the car in the car park all day whilst we used the suspended railway. Just a note for those using Landgerich station, the ticket machine at the bottom of the stairs only took coins, not notes or cards, but if you go up to the platform there is another machine which does take cards. It was all very easy to use.

A modern building, very nice rooms, large buffet breakfast choice. Our room looked out over Wuppertal, as the hotel is on a hill. It is five minutes walk from the nearest “Schwebebahn” (monorail) station. It has five free parking spaces, but there is an underground car park very close. Very friendly reception, and convenient lifts. I’d recommend it highly.

The location is excellent, very convenient, right next to the train station, very convenient to have boxes, the fifth floor has a good view, the room is small, but very clean, suitable for traveling alone or business trip, good service

Stayed at this hotel while on business in the city with a colleague. The location was good, a short walk from the train station. The staff were friendly. My colleague had forgotten his toothbrush and they gave him one free of charge. The reception area looks very modern - the rooms were a little dated but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great with a large range of items.

We were going to the euros and saw this hotel for £100 per night. In places like cologne they were charging near £300. Right away the price of this place was good. The lady on reception was friendly and told us all the information we would need and explained the night entrance to us very well. We were also promised twin beds in the room and we were given them. The breakfast at €20 pp is a scam so we avoided that as there are plenty to places to eat and drink in the area. The room was basic but it was clean and spacious enough. The beds were comfy and it also has a tv (only German channels but it’s expected really.) The toilet has an adequate shower. They leave free water and glasses in the rooms too. Overall this is a good hotel that does the job for a few nights at a great price during a major tournament. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Unfortunately super disappointing. We spent in this sending hotel 2 nights including our wedding night. Had even ordered a expensive photographer and videographer tomorrow to take a picture and photograph with us. We had clearly set out with the hotel in the forefront which room we wish for it, orally and in writing. We were even in the room before and I showed photos of another Getting Ready in our wish room that I wanted for us. The hotel has shown us and confirmed this room in the local area, also in writing. You can imagine our horror when we arrive on the day of check-in afternoon and this room was just ”paid” to people who spontaneously asked it on the same day. Without any conversation with us. It was even in the system that we reserved it, and then the lady at the reception probably held a telephone conversation with the booking manager who had to get fully out of the air and never have to say, that he has given us another room because we wanted a bathtub. We never wanted a bathtub or even just talked about it. My husband measures clearly over 2 meters, The max 1,40m long bathtub in one of the other rooms doesn't interest us at all. Absolutely difficult in addition to the organization. And then, the room was away, there was absolutely no room at the same level. Instead of the room with greater over 3 meters of ceiling height and to the garden exit, then a much smaller room with 2.50m deck height with windows went out to the industrial area. And in this room the Getting Ready Shooting took place with the expensively paid photographers and videographers. Whenever I see the photos I get angry because wedding dress including dragon now decorately hangs to the industrial area in front of a window and the ceiling is on the ground. I really find a uglyness for a hotel that is so high. And unfortunately, we had planned to have a address in the hotel next to the expensive Getting Ready where we will spend our wedding day every year in the next few years. Also that - linked to this disappointing memory - is not of course Option more. Really disappointing. The owners have never turned in and apologised or similar. Damage! Therefore zero of 5 stars.

The hotel is basic but serves the need if you only want a place to sleep over. All services are done online (which is awesome!). The instructions for entering the hotel and room can be quite frustrating and you need to pay careful attention to the steps. The room was clean and exactly what I expected. Sad to say that only German stations were available on the TV. All international stations had no signal. The parking area in front of the hotel is, unfortunately, a gathering place for “hotrod youngsters” on a Sunday evening. That means BMW’s revving, loud music en shouting. This eventually stopped but don’t expect an early night. Overall a good experience if you want a sleep and go scenario.
