Secondly, it was noisy. The surrounding environment was loud, and the windows weren't soundproof. In the morning, I heard several loud 'rumble-rumble' sounds, like steel from a construction site. On top of that, there was noise from the hotel itself. I was woken up past 1 AM by the distinct sound of water being used upstairs, first by one person, then another—'whoosh-whoosh-whoosh.' My husband and I couldn't believe how loud it was. Overall, I didn't get a good night's sleep.
