5 of us had a Sunday roast last weekend. Everything about the visit was first rate. The staff were all friendly and efficient, pub atmosphere and decor very impressive, great value and most of all fantastic food. The quality and quantity of the food was amazing. We eat out a lot and this was the best roast we have had in a very long time!

Love the railway for a drink staff so welcoming and friendly they all work hard they will chat to you whilst serving you and nothing is too much trouble. Food is lovely and cooked to perfection and tasty. Molly does an outstanding job multi tasking serving a few customers at once. Always has a smile on her face as do they all

I've just returned from a 3 night stay at this beautiful hotel. It's location is great for exploring Worthing and the Sussex coastline by train.. My room was a deluxe room and it really did not disappoint!! The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room was clean and daily housekeeping maintained that throughout my stay here. The staff were amazing and attentive , especially a young man called Shay and a young lady called Eva. Both were so friendly and helpful and seemed to really enjoy thier jobs too.. A very relaxed atmosphere and the ambiance within the pub / restaurant was beautiful. The food was amazing too! Manager was lovely too but I didn't catch her name. I will definitely be returning. The main bar staff where great friendly and helpful. However the new assistant manager seem to do little why the rest of the staff run around keeping customers happy, as a senior manager myself I feel the new assistant manager needs to lead by example and show how much of a team player they are.

We were more than happy with the five nights we spent at The Railway Hotel. Its location, across the street from the train station, made moving throughout the region easy. The entire staff was very attentive to our needs. The ambiance of the hotel was charming, food and drink were superb, and our room comfortable. We look forward to returning.

Had a lovely meal here with good friends. Service was great. Food was delicious. No long wait for food. Really liked the new upgrade in the pub the layout is lovely. Beer garden spacious. Will be back again soon! Used a birthday voucher I got for signing up to the Portobello Pubs which doubled up my contribution so really good value for good and drinks.

We had a great experience, we had a miscommunication regarding early check in which was solved very quickly. Rooms were very nice, breakfast was great. Staff were super friendly. The location is convenient and a lot of taxis just outside. Would stay again

Our group of 10 made this our base for the Goodwood Revival weekend and collectively have only great things to say about The Railway Hotel. The rooms were spacious and spotless and we slept very well. The chef and his team gave us an excellent dinner, but the highlight of our visit was Kat, the manager, who really knows what she is doing, and made sure our stay was tip top.

Have now stayed here a few times, and each time has been good. Staff are friendly, rooms are good, and the food in the restaurant is fresh and tasty. Is everything I need from a hotel for a short stay, and much better than Premier Inns or Travelodges. Will definitely be staying again, when next in Worthing.
