Apparently, they've just finished an upgrade, and the place looks nice and new, BUT ... The Bistro has a very limited menu, in spite of the notice in the elevator showing all kinds of yummy things for dinner. Nope. Not happening. And only one elevator works, so you can end up waiting and waiting. Inexcusably, the room doors are impossible to close quietly, so don't plan on sleeping in or going to bed early. There is no recycling, unlike most Marriotts which have in-room recycle containers. None of the ice machines on any floor worked. There's a tiny little soap, the kind you'd expect in a Motel 6. We asked for a quiet room and got one overlooking I-40. The view from our room, in front of I-40, was construction garbage.
