Basic but clean hotel. Check in and parking were great breakfast was really tasty and all allergens were displayed and we also were able to get gluten free toast. Location was great at the top of Windamere hill 30 minute walk into bowness. Residents bar wasn't open and the bar next door Orrests head was freezing. We came back up to the hotel in the night hoping to get a drink but the bar had closed earlier than the time advertised which was disappointing as there was no where else to get a drink.

A room with a very unexpected view, very old-fashioned and traditional equipment. I especially like the window view of this hotel. You can see the whole town at a glance. Maybe it has been raining these few days, so I can't see the sunrise🌅

Advantages:
Very close to Windermere Station, you can say that you just exit the station, turn 360 degrees, and then walk uphill for 1 minute to arrive.
