The Windermere Hotel is very close to Windermere railway station, this is an old building but the interiors are very well-maintained. I booked a single ensuit room, very comfortable.

Although the hotel is old, it is well maintained. The bathroom is clean and odorless. The single room is not big but it is enough. There is a restaurant on the first floor. The furniture is very British. The rooms facing the street will be noisy at night.
