Great location in centre of town, ample car parking and EV point available. Staff helpful, room cosy with small bathroom but comfy bed. Breakfast excellent cooked to order. Nice balcony area and bar. Be aware if on higher floors (as we were) stairs are quite steep.

This is our 5th short break at Villa Applegarth and as expected another quality stay. The upgraded room we were given was spacious clean and a fantastic bathroom with large jacuzzi bath (thanks Kevin) The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout, all the staff are polite and friendly. Fabulous Hotel The design and decor in this special hotel is first class. Food was amazing and beautifully presented. The bed was so comfy and room spotlessly clean. The jacuzzi bath was a bonus , also with a waterfall walk in shower. (Room 7 ) Very friendly and informative staff. 2 minutes walk to town centre. 5 minutes to Bus/Railway Station. Parking. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

The hotels is amazing, the entrance and reception was warm and welcoming with plenty of comfortable seats if there is a need to wait, we checked straight into room 1 the room was stunning my partner had no words, it was a luxury room and definitely did not disappoint we loved everything about it, from the large bathroom with double jacuzzi bath to the large living area, everything was perfect. After check in we explored the bar and dinning areas and they also didn’t disappoint, they were exceptionally styled and so warm and welcoming, During the stay it’s hard to single out a member of staff for there service as we were made to feel so welcome by everyone, although my partner would have loved to take the chef home due to the amazing food that we ate in the restaurant during our stay, come and stay you will not be disappointed the best hotel we have ever stayed in and also the best food by far.

A fabulous 3 night stay at this peaceful hotel. We booked a luxury room in the main hotel. Very easy to find & access to a private car park. The hotel is virtually in the centre of Windermere village so having a car park is a good bonus. The room was beautifully furnished & decorated & very clean. It was also very quiet so good sleep quality. It is a family owned hotel so all of the team were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent with all freshly cooked to order food. There is a lovely young lady who seems to work very hard as she served our breakfast each day & our evening meal, plus she helped with the housekeeping jobs - we didn’t get her name but she was a young blonde haired girl -very friendly & excellent customer service skills. We ate in the Apple restaurant one evening & the food is a very good standard, we both had the lamb rump- cooked to perfection. Overall, a lovely peaceful stay.
