A magical stay sunshine fabulous scenery We stayed in the wray castle suite Had fine dining in the restaurant looked after by knowledgeable Jo our server who knew everything about the menu recommendations pork fillet, scallops so tasty and presentation amazing 2 nights stay, afternoon tea a delight and nothing like you'd expect a real showstopper! Then a leisurely cruise aboard the Albertros vintage cruiser with a tour of the lake our skippers Pete & Rob telling us the history and tales of bygone times all while sipping champagne Quite a special few days and a gastro experience, don't miss cocktails from Ian in the bar overlooking the lake at sunset, or out on the terrace! Thank you for making us so welcome back soon I hope beautiful hotel 5 star ⭐ stay

A trip not to be missed - a great two night stay at Langdale chase with friends. We enjoyed some delicious food and a thoroughly enjoyable trip on the boat - accompanied by the very professional and knowledgeable Rob and Pete. We had an very enjoyable break at Langdale Chase celebrating a family birthday. Fabulous location, great staff and good food. We took the boat trip from the hotel around Lake Windermere, one of the highlights of the weekend. Rob and Pete were excellent and very knowledgable.

Thanks you to Rob and Peter for the most wonderful time on the Lake. The Albatross is one fine boat crewed by two of the nicest men you could meet. They make the experience truly memorable and the most stunning way to see the beautiful Lakes. Thank you Rob and Peter - you made Bridget’s 21st extra special .

We had a wonderful few days at the Langdale Chase. The hotel is exquisite and the staff are very helpful. The food is excellent and deserving of a Michelin star. Looking forward to returning soon.

Had a wonderful reaxing couple of nights at Langdale Chase, we were well looked after and the suite was stunning, fabulous views of the lake and immaculately clean. We had a trip out on the albatross with Rob and Pete crewing, great welcoming pair who were a wealth of information, it was a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. It was my wife's birthday celebration combined with her retirement and we were very well looked after.

A fabulous second visit to this amazing hotel. The views are simply stunning, the decor classy, the service superb. But what made the trip so special this year was the wonderful boat trip on the Albatros cruise. The history of the boat is evocative and Rob and Pete were informative, warm and professional. They knew so much about the Lake and the local area and Rob was so obliging when my husband wanted to steer the boat. He found the perfect balance of chatting, keeping him right on the temporary captain job (!) and allowing us to take in the breathtaking scenery. Thanks Rob! It really was the most perfect day, I smile when I think of it - the boat trip is lodged in my mind as a very special memory. A lovely birthday treat from my husband and I’m wishing I was back there already.
